On Lord Rhindon

Day 637, 18:14 Published in Ireland Ireland by Brian Boru
As it appears some people have entered the habit of attempting to pin Rhindon's mess on me, I feel compelled to write an article on the matter.

The facts are as follows:

1.
Lord Rhindon requested 700 IEP for Community projects.
He stated that the carried over 2000 IEP from last month along with this month's addition would be used to buy a Q5 house at market price, while the rest would fund advertising for the Community competitions, awards etc that he had planned. He also received donations from Nogin and Pip totalling 7 gold. At no point did he say or imply that he would be spending almost the entire budget on the house.

2.
I discovered that the Community Org had very little IEP in it, more than a Q5 house would usually cost. Nogin had as well, and notified me. She subsequently posted the article that revealed the mismanagement of funds as Rhindon had bought an overpriced house.

3.
Rhindon resigned, the scandal continued.

I had no way of knowing that Rhindon was going to use the large majority of his funding for the Q5 house, as I cannot read the future or his mind.

Department of Finance funds are given to the other Departments in trust that they will use them according to what they say they will, and responsibly. In this case, that trust was abused, intentionally or otherwise.
