Frustration with the next election

Day 590, 06:34 Published in USA USA by Aren Perry

I felt like we were making steps towards unity. I still do.

I had high hopes that we would have ONE good candidate in which we can all gather behind. This is not pointed at any person running for President in particular, Emerick or Harrison Richardson or Lowell.

When I heard about HR running (first candidate I heard about), I am personally not too familiar with him, but was happy to see someone who seemed like a decent candidate I was hoping we could all get behind regardless of party lines.

From what I know (and this is just opinion), most Presidential issues aren't based off of party-line ideologies.

All of a sudden Emerick was running and we had ourselves a race. Do I hold something great against Emerick? no. One of my real life friends is good friends with him in-game.

I just wish we had one candidate we could all get behind regardless of party lines so that we could focus our voting power on our smaller allies and bigger enemies.

On a sligthy related note, the AAP Primaries end tomorrow. All AAP members that have NOT voted need to pm me with who they want to nominate.

Lowell Kennedy
Harrison Richardson
Emerick
Ajay Bruno

The nomination of the AAP will go to has the highest amount of votes.

Aren Perry,
AAP Party President
