FNN Celebrates eJapanese Constitution Day

Day 1,381, 07:48 Published in Japan Japan by Sophia Forrester

Two years ago today, the National Diet of eJapan adopted the Constitution of the Great Empire of Japan. Rallying around our Constitution, we established our Empire.

The Constitution guaranteed democracy, organized the Imperial Army and Imperial Diet, and laid out a national ideology, the Righteous Nation Philosophy, which took after the ancient code of bushido.

- The Righteous Nation is not a conqueror, because there is no glory in self-interested conquest.
- The Righteous Nation is a guardian, a defender of the weak.
- The Righteous Nation maintains a strong military, to defend honor and deter the wicked.
- The Righteous Nation maintains a proud culture and fosters national unity.
- The Righteous Nation respects foreign culture to preserve international harmony.

These are the principles of the Constitution of Japan.

"Time flows like a river, and history repeats." Let us cherish the principles that have made Japan great. As long as we are true to these ideals, that greatness shall come again.
