2-Clicker 2-Minute Morning Coffee Summary - 29 August, Weekender Bourbon edition

Day 648, 04:33 Published in USA USA by Zheng He

We get a splash of Kentucky bourbon in our coffee this morning!

Yesterday we liberated New Mexico from Indonesia.

After an unsuccessful attempt the day before, we were also able to liberate Georgia from Portugal. I will say it again : Go Jackets!

We attacked Mississippi, which is held by Indonesia.

I guess Mississippi wasn't challenging enough, so we also attacked Arizona, which is held by Indonesia. Not for long!

Despite our recent liberation of Oklahoma, and the 12 hour admin-enforced hiatus in the war against Russia, Russia attacked Oklahoma yesterday. As of yesterday afternoon, it shows that the USA retreated from the battlefield. After all these battles, is there anything left in Oklahoma to fight for?

After initially sending us to Mississippi (an easy win for the eUSA), the Battle Orders sent us to Arizona. This is exactly why the DoD wants us to wait until late in the day to fight (when possible). Things are fluid and priorities may change during the day.

After dinner last night (California Pizza Kitchen ... making me dream about fighting west to the Pacific!), I found something interesting. In just a few hours, the eUSA had attacked and liberated a whole slew of regions from Portugal:
Georgia
Tennessee
North Carolina
South Carolina
Virginia (My RL home state!)
Kentucky (Yay, my RL birth state!)

The President of Porgutal retreated all of these battles and the only one that lasted more than 10 minutes was Georgia. What's going on? Some weird game between President Emerick and President Raikael? NOOOOO!!!! We seem to have ...

PEACE WITH PORTUGAL!!! It seems that the way to "buy back" our regions is that we first attack, then the PT president retreats. We also have to pay 500 gold in fees--much less than in the previous proposed treaty.
