[MoHA] Huge Prizes and a National Referendum
Sven Goran Duran-Duran
Welcome to this term at the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Firstly, the Government of the eUK would like to thank all citizens that voted in the recent CP elections; participation in national elections can only help further the cause of democracy in the eUK.
Secondly, apologies for the delay in the release of this first article but it appears the MoHA org is currently inaccessible to the Government. The CP is already on the issue, and we're confident we'll have the org back soon.
Further, it is a pleasure to welcome Malkaiser / Goku Jones to the Ministry as co-MoHA. Goku is a very experienced citizen with a blanket of knowledge in many areas and he'll be a great asset to the Cabinet.
NEXT UP - THE RETURN OF THE LOGICONOR PRIZE FOR EXCEPTIONAL JOURNALISM
My last stint as MoHA was bolstered by the generous donations of a retiring player who left a prize fund for the Ministry.
This term, we'll be reinstating the LOGICONOR PRIZE FOR EXCEPTIONAL JOURNALISM but initially, with a twist.
To co-incide with the ongoing Cricket Test Series versus the mighty India irl - eIndia has has challenged the eUK to a contest!
The contest, as per the Logiconor Prize, will be an article writing competition. It will last for 10 days from 12th to the 22nd inclusive.
The articles should be on anything based on cricket and both teams will release the articles in the eUK press in English.
Any number of articles per person but this competition is a 10/10 format - i.e. only the best 10 articles will be chosen from either side and they will go to an independent judge.
Judges will give 6 runs to excellent articles, 4 to good articles and 1 for decent articles. An extra 2 runs will be awarded for covering the on going series.
The Judges can not participate.
Winning person gets 15g, second person gets 10g and third gets 5g.
The prizes will be sponsored jointly the by eIndia and the eUK combined.
AND the winning team gets a further bonus of ANOTHER 10 gold to be distributed evenly.
GOOD LUCK GUYS AND LETS WIN THIS - GAME ON
Finally, please join me in welcoming the eIndians who will be posting in our press to participate in the Tournament. Good luck eIndia \o/
And Finally - NEWS ON THE REFERENDUM
You've heard the arguments and the time has come to vote.
Tomorrow you will hear from the CP who will open the National Referendum when you, the people, get to decide where we want to go as a country internationally.
Watch out for articles on the Referendum tomorrow where you will learn how you can participate.
In the meantime, here are the leading articles on the subject and a wise eUKer would familiarise themselves with the debate:
For Neutrality
For Sirius
Make sure your voice is heard - don't forget to vote.

Nice work! v
Out of interest who is running the referendum? I offered because I have no vested interest and couldn't give a hoot either way but do want it to be fair and accurate.
I have been wondering as well. I would appreciate it if it was run by an outside party.

"further the cause of democracy in the eUK."

Cricket.
Pish.
I don't even know anybody that plays it.
We can go the meadows one day and have a jolly game then go drink gin and bugger each other like good cricket players.
What's there to learn about how to participate, surely as stated in the manifesto it is a case of commenting our votes no?
Maybe they will teach you the secret of mass multi making.
Have to voice the same concern as the Cpt here, who will be running it and what guarantees are there that it is a fair one and not a Robert Mugabe special? Also what limitations are being implemented so as to stop a sudden influx of people to 'help show their support' for such an undertaking.
Without having some-one who is seen to be politically neutral there will be accusations and counter-accusations flying around left, right and centre
