How to Make Money Training; or Ten Things I Hate About My Finger
Aeriadne
So here's ten fun facts about me you may not have known since I wrote my last article:
Fun Fact 1: I started preparing my next article on getting the most gold out training a few weeks ago.
Fun Fact 2: I accidentally cut off the tip of my left index finger in a Walmart in West Virginia.
Fun Fact 3: I do not live in West Virginia.
Fun Fact 4: EMTs are lovely people.
Fun Fact 5: It is apparently really easy to fix part of your finger missing, so that's cool.
Fun Fact 6: It is really difficult typing sans left index finger.
Fun Fact 7: It is really difficult to do most things sans left index finger.
Fun Fact 8: In the course of writing this new article, I had my BH sniped from me. So, shout out to duasNagasaki and congratulations on your five gold, you 162 163 time Battle Hero, you.
Fun Fact 9: eRepublik has closed out on this article twice already, but thankfully I had most of it saved. Most of it.
So, finger re-intact, I set about finishing my article on what training regimens produce the most amount of gold. After countless calculations, graphs, and other such devices, I felt confidant that I had finally produced the definitive work on gold ratios and training regimens. I thought that, but cue Fun Fact 10...
Fun Fact 10: It already exists.
¿Cómo se dice "womp womp"?
So, after a few modifications, double checkings, and generally just going "ah man I wish I would have known about this sooner so I didn't spend all the time doing it by myself," I now present the extremely cut down and probably last financially inclined article I will ever write. After an extensive search, I have included only the combinations which will turn a profit. You're welcome. Hopefully. I don't know. I'm really tired still. I blame drugs.
Press here to make it bigger.
The top five money earning training combinations is as follows, in order of most to least:
1. Q4 Training Ground & Q4 Climbing Center with daily bonus
2. Q4 Training Ground Only with daily bonus
3. Q4 Training Ground & Q4 Climbing Center without daily bonus
4. Q4 Training Ground Only without daily bonus
5. Q4 Training Ground & Q2 Climbing Center with daily bonus, Q4 Training Ground & Q3 Climbing Center with daily bonus, Q4 Training Ground & Q4 Climbing Center with daily bonus
Honestly, I'm a fighter, not a mathematician.
So, moral? I suppose. Here's a couple things I learned in the processing of all this information.
Firstly, the only way to make money training with contracts, as I've been informed by Edelmann is as follows: "Training with all facilities on Q4 also makes a small profit when using the contract (in a smart way = for 31 x training). You spend a total of 61.897 gold in this period (53g contract + 31*0.287g training), but you earn more gold with medals. Training 31 times will give you 31*91.8 strength (average) = 2845.8 strength, equal to 11.3832 SS medals or 56.916 gold. Add the average of 5.166666g you'll get for the HW medal in 31 days --> 62.0826666 gold.
Expenses of 61.897 gold
Income of 62.082666 gold
Profit of 0.1856666 gold in 31 days."
Thank you to Edelmann for that correction!
Secondly, it is so obviously worth it to rank up your Training Ground that there should be no excuse for you to not to. I'm going to go ahead and thank Iamnameless for giving me this advice early on in my career. Quality dude.
Thirdly, anything outside of the Training Grounds and the Climbing Center doesn't make you money. So don't do it.
And finally, only ever upgrade when there's a sale. The amount of gold you save is beyond worth it.
And, to close out, a few article facts.
Article Fact 1: I've said "so" a total of ten times in this article.
Article Fact 2: I watched two seasons and four episodes of Archer in the course of writing this article.
Article Fact 3: I will probably never be doing this again.
Article Fact 4: I have fixed 7 typos in this article since publishing it.
Perhaps next time, I'll have something of worth that hasn't already been said before.
Until next time, dothras chek.

"Firstly, don't get training contracts if you're looking to make any gold. They don't make you any gold. At all. Ever."
That's just wrong. Training with all facilities on Q4 also makes a small profit when using the contract (in a smart way = for 31 x training).
You spend a total of 61.897 gold in this period (53g contract + 31*0.287g training), but you earn more gold with medals. Training 31 times will give you 31*91.8 strength (average) = 2845.8 strength, equal to 11.3832 SS medals or 56.916 gold. Income of 62.082666 gold
Profit of 0.1856666 gold in 31 days.
Btw I'm not arguing that other combinations will make much more money - however people should be aware of the fact that Q4 training is basically free if done correctly.
If you don't mind, I'm going to include this. I'm very glad you brought it up.
Sure, include it! 🙂 Glad that someone reads it. 😉

Now tell us how you almost lost a finger at Walmart. Was there horseplay involved? Running with scissors, that sort of thing?
You know those plastic casings they often have around electronic stuff that are simultaneously difficult to open and really sharp if opened? The long and short of it is, those things can legitimately hurt you and they should be banned. Thankfully my finger is just sort of flat now. No real damage done. It's kind of weird to be honest.
Those things are dangerous.
