Aircraft Rank Development Guide

Introduction

A while ago, I published an Aircraft Rank Development Guide, which offered advice on how to optimise your aircraft rank development, earn Sky Hero medals, and utilise Epic Air Round Battles to accumulate Prestige Points to improve the resources you have to deploy towards your aircraft rank growth.

Today I thought I'd update it and share it again for newer players 💕

It would be great to hear from other experienced pilots too on any advice, tips or strategies you employ whilst growing your aircraft rank.

Growing your Aircraft Rank

Focus on dealing high air damage in battles to increase your Aircraft Rank.

Manage your resources and energy levels effectively by using energy recovery rewards (from the weekly challenge) and other energy-related items to participate consistently throughout the week.

Use "+10%" and "+20%" Air Rank Points boosters for a temporary increase in air rank points when you intend to use a lot of energy. A limited supply of the +10% Air Rank Points booster can be purchased from the VIP shop at VIP 7. The VIP shop does re-stock fairly frequently.

Take advantage of damage accelerators to deploy damage more rapidly when using air rank boosters.

“Weekly Challenge” Epic Battles and use other Epic Battles:

Air Round Epic Battles are high-damage battles that earn double Prestige Points and double gold rewards for Sky Hero medals.

Participate in Epic Battles whenever possible to significantly contribute to your Prestige Points and enhance your weekly challenge rewards.

Pay special attention to Epic Battles organised on Tuesdays at the start of the weekly challenge, as they increase your energy recovery rate early in the weekly challenge period, allowing you to have more energy throughout the week to earn more rewards and Sky Hero medals.

Utilise Prestige points booster - The booster increases the prestige points awarded when fighting by 1 for each 10 energy for 10 minutes.

In a normal week don`t do the whole weekly in the first epic of the week. If you get to 20,000 prestige points to optimise your energy recovering to the maximum for the week max recovery. If you do more than that in the first epic you use more energy bars than you can recover during the rest of the week.

Weekly Challenge Rewards

The Weekly Challenge offers various rewards based on accumulated Prestige Points, including Energy recovery, Factory Reset Tokens, Storage upgrades, Moving tickets, Damage boosters, Small bombs, Large Storage, and Energy bars.

As you progress and accumulate more Prestige Points, the rewards become more valuable.

In addition placing in the top 100 players with additional gold rewards, depending on placement.

Energy Bars

Look for special events where you can use gold to buy energy bars at discounted rates. These special event lets you get a lot more energy bars in return for gold invested.

AIM-92 Stingers

AIM-92 Stingers have a durability of 3 hits per Stinger and grant a flat 1000 Air damage per hit (boosted to 1100 with the Elite Citizen bonus). AIM 92 Stingers can be earned from Power Spin events as well as from occasional special pack offers.

Switch to "No weapon" if the round is unimportant or you don't intend to use Stingers.

Damage booster (Air)

A damage booster increases the damage in an air round by 20% or 50%. A limited supply of both can be purchased from the VIP Shop, "+20%" VIP 6 and "+50%" VIP 8. The VIP shop does re-stock fairly frequently.

Aircraft weapons

Using Aircraft weapons is optional and dependant on your play style and if you can afford to use them! However Q5 aircraft weapons can at +100% damage to your air hits.

Energy Centers
Building a substantial energy pool or having a sufficient number of energy bars is crucial for maximising your damage output.

Active houses add recoverable energy to your pool. Higher-quality houses provide more energy. Do consider which houses are affordable based on your playstyle and strategies employed.

Being a resident of a region grants you an additional +50 Energy from the Central Park.

Consider purchasing Energy Centers from the special items shop using gold or loyalty points.

Packs, such as the Power Pack, provide an Energy Center and additional Energy restoration per 6 minutes.

Blitzkrieg Pack offers a +4000 Energy Center, ideal for Sky Hero hunting, and 5x Damage Accelerators.

Earning Sky Hero Medals

Start early and aim to hit from the first few seconds of the battle. Check if you are hitting alone and can deal more than 30k Air damage without competition, increasing your chances of securing the Sky Hero medal.

Be cautious if another player starts hitting with you. You have a few options, such as speaking to them, this is ideal for fellow local pilots as from my experience you can amicable agree who hits for the medal and who would take priority if the same situation occurs at a future date. As a newer pilot I would assess their experience level and Sky Hero medals if not a local pilot. If they have a lot of Sky Hero medals or have a high level or are uncommunicative consider stepping down to save resources.

Don't snip or steal other pilot's sky hero medals, like you they are employing strategies to optimise their aircraft rank development.

A final tip, if possible be online at the end of any SH claim you have on a battlefield. This can deter would be thieves.

Whether Using Packs or Not:

The Power Pack provides an Energy Center and additional Energy restoration per 6 minutes, boosting fighting capabilities.

The Blitzkrieg Pack is suitable for intense Sky Hero hunters, offering a massive Energy Center (+4000) and Damage Accelerators.

Consider War & Combat Stashes for rank points or bonus gold when actively hunting for Sky Hero medals.

Remember, success in the game can be achieved without spending real money, but packs and strategic resource use can enhance your gameplay experience. Adapt these strategies to your playstyle and goals.

Conclusions

By optimising energy recovery through Air Round Epic Battles at the start of the weekly challenge by accumulating Prestige Points, earning Sky Hero medals to earn gold for energy bars to be used at the start of the weekly challenge, and participating in air round consistently across the week you can increase your Aircraft Rank and dominate the skies.

Use this guide to adapt your own playstyle and to set your own goals, and good luck on your journey to becoming an ace in the sky!

Again I would welcome feedback and comment on any strategies or guidance I missed from fellow pilots.
