With A Little Help From My Friends

Day 702, 09:53 Published in USA USA by Jude Connors
DISCLAIMER: This article is long and EPIC!

Man! Yesterday was an exciting day for me. I started the day off on a somber note when I decided to leave my political party. Truth be told, I found myself falling further and further away from the core principles and policies of the party. That being said, I cannot begin to express my gratitude for everything I have learned as a member of the Socialist Freedom Party. Some of the best in-game and out-of-game knowledge flows freely in the members of the SFP. I have made friends with many, many, wonderful people whom I hope can forgive me for "forsaking" the cause. If it is any consolation, I feel like a jerk and I am sorry. Thank you for some great times and I wish you ALL success in the future. I am only a PM away.

Luckily for me, my day got better. After a sweet donation came my way, I bought some ad space for my Congressional run. My ads begun today and will link to my Congressional presentation - the Jude's Journal article "You Say You Want A Revolution". They will run until Election Day. With any luck, new readers will subscribe to the paper so I can get some real numbers there! MM is win!

Speaking of win... did you happen to get Hungary get trounced by the Allies? It was pretty effin' amazing! I watched the night before as the military and regular eAmericans - armed by the government - dropped the wall down to -603K.

I then watched the wall grow until it completely FELL to the eUSA and our allies in less than five minutes. It was pure amazing. I saw it all go down - an astonishing sight from my new office in the White House. (Watch the Wall Fall!)

To top off the day, the first two-hour edition of Jude Connors's Weekly Wednesday Night Town Hall & Swatters Festival was an epic success. It started off with Rainy Sunday - Director of Young Socialists - speak about the mentor program sponsored by the Socialist Freedom Party. TimothyBeasley, Sub-Commandant de la Resistance of the Greens-In-Exile, then spoke about the PTO of the Green Party by egomaniac Jimmy Loomis. He spoke about the plans of the party to rid the Greens of the madman - as well as give those in attendance an update on the tyrant. He told us all the damage Loomis has already wrought upon the party, including the total destruction of the Green website and forums.
NOTE TO MY FRIENDS IN E-SINGAPORE: Loomis's last shout said he was headed there!

PigInZen - the White House Chief of Staff - then PTOed the floor and held it hostage for over a half an hour - LOL. He spoke about the new White House Human Resources department before having a great chat about the economy. The HR department should be in full-swing starting this weekend. As the first-ever White House Director of Human Resources, I look forward to setting the standard for future directors. More information is forthcoming, but the job will be as a headhunter or Head Recruiter (HR) for government jobs. Basically, when a position needs to be filled, department heads will turn to my department for recommendations. The HR department will be a very busy spot and I plan on getting a staff together soon.

PIZ was the headliner - but MAD PROPS go out to Deputy Speaker of the House Tiacha. She came to the forum and gave an amazing recap of the 22nd Congress. Best of all, Tiacha did it all on the spot - a whole FIFTEEN minutes after I asked her to do it. She exuded total confidence and I am sure that NO ONE knew that she had NO TIME to prepare! Thanks for filling in, T! You absolutely rock!

As scheduled, the SFP Congressional Caucus - Alex Lorre and Phoenix Quinn - explained to us why they deserve to be elected to Congress in the next couple of days. Take my word on it... you want BOTH of them in office. Check their presentations here and here. And why I am pitching friends, go check out the latest news about the Cactus Caucus!

So the day ended up pretty well. From a depressing start; to an amazing view of eUSA's greatest battle victory; to an epic end with the weekly town hall; I learned "I get by with a little help from my friends". Thank you everybody!
