Join the new world

My fellow eBelgians,
After several months of decreased activity (though never being totally out of the game or unaware of the issues), I find my eCountry faced with a very interesting choice for CP for the coming month. Both Jofroi and Monsieur Guillontine have strengths and weaknesses, and each has supporters and detractors. Ultimately, the choice comes down to which of them has more to give to our citizens, and while a good case could be made for his opponent, I choose to cast my vote for Monsieur Guillontine. Here is why:
1. Monsieur Guillontine has put forth a comprehensive program for things he wishes to do in his term as CP. It is idealistic, to be sure, and it is very unlikely that he can achieve all of his goals; nevertheless, it is that very idealism I find appealing. If you aim high, you may fall short of the goal, but you still are likely to accomplish more than if you set your sites too low.
2. Monsieur Guillontine has demonstrated an interest in and respect for other eCitizens, not just the ones he interacts with every day, but also those less active for the time he has been playing, such as myself, and his program indicates an interest in eBabies, as well.
3. His record of activity is impressive. Although he has been playing the game only a few months, he has passed much older players in experience level, indicating a degree of interest in the game that will make him an active and responsive CP.
4. Who can possibly resist free hugs?
A vote for Monsieur Guillontine, in my opinion, is a vote for a vibrant and growing eBelgium where every citizen counts. I have made my choice, now go and make yours!
