October-November RFC Wrapup

Day 358, 19:39 Published in USA USA by Desertfalcon

As my first term draws to a close I am proud to say that the RFC has gotten over the adjustment of V1 and is solidifying its spot as the number three party in the United States. When I was elected there were about 225 members but then with the release of V1 party numbers dropped around the board by about 10%, however unlike the UCP and the AAP we have bounced back and we have now doubled the gap between us and the UCP from when I took office. I am also optimistic about our growth in the future since we seem to be an appealing party to new players and once they reach the necessary level to join a party they will probably join the RFC. I encourage everyone in the party to do what they can to help us recruit new members and one way you can do this is just by helping out new members get used to the game.

This has been a hard month to be party president with the release of V1. I made the mistake of appointing all my staff before V1 was released and because of that I was left with an empty cabinet for awhile after V1 was released. I have decided that since I have not heard from Ron Paul, Took Lowind, or Jefferson Steelflex that I will declare their positions vacant. I have given the spot of head recruiter to Cjwillwin since he has remained active in American politics even after V1. I will be taking applications from anyone and everyone in the RFC for the position of party vice president. Just send me a PM that you think should persuade me to pick you as my VP and I will make my announcement on who the new VP is the day after the election. I am also looking for two other active members to be the campaign adviser and head of the regional directors.

As of right now it looks like nobody else will be running for party president so I am not going to waste time with a campaign article and I will instead focus on the upcoming congressional elections. If you are interested in running for congress there is a link to an article where you can apply at the bottom of this article. In case you have not heard these new elections will be done on the local level between candidates instead of parties. Anybody who is interested can apply to be a congressional candidate for their region, Even if you do not win the election I plan to have these candidates double as regional directors so you will have a spot in the party.

Lastly I would like to announce that I have been appointed Chief of Staff by Benn Dover and I will be working closely with the current administration. Over the next few days I will be getting acquainted with the new cabinet members as well as appointing our congressional candidates there are plenty of states left so apply today.
