MYRMIDONS - Greeks Without Honor

This is not an article I wanted to write, but sadly, I am now compelled to publicly attack a group of people which I one considered dear friends and among the most trustworthy allies once can have. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case. Besides for the few members who stayed behind when the rest of the original 20 or so that were here decided to return to Greece because we did not have an NE at the time, the new MYRMIDONS that have come here and the few old ones who have returned have decided that their loyalty to Iaswn and his Turkish friends outweighs their loyalty to their own country and to the greatest friend they ever had in this country. I expected better out of them, but sadly, they've jumped on the bandwagon of being friends with the Turks, Pfeiffer, and being distracted by the obsession over the name of a country which could not harm a fly.

When the original MYRMIDONS came to the eUSA, it was I and the New Conservative Party which took them in. I went out of my way to make sure that their designated representative was elected to two terms in Congress, and the third was only because the region he picked was one we lost before the election ended. I did everything I possibly could to welcome them, accomodate them, befriend them, and I was proud to call them all my friends and compatriots. Many shared my skepticism of the Turks and my passion for Greek history, culture and the glory days of the Byzantine Empire. When most of them departed I considered it a great loss for our party and our country. I let them know that should they ever return, they could expect the same friendship with our party and its members.

Iaswn has for some reason never liked me. It was in the past few months however when we had a huge blowup. I then called him out on selling out Greece to the Turks all because he somehow thinks that FYROM is more of a concern. I have said it before and I will say it again. I understand the naming dispute, however, this slight is NOTHING compared to what has been done to the Greek people by your TRUE enemy. The fact that so many Greeks have forgotten this is reflective of the decline of your once proud and noble people. Anyway, Iaswn decided to issue a Presidential order directing that all Greeks(particularly those in his MU as those outside his MU were much less likely to listen) to NOT associate with our party should they come to the eUSA.

Like mindless zombies, they obeyed the orders of their mad commander and decided to take up a new friendship, with Henry "Pfeiffer" Arundel and the United States Workers Party, a party which any of the MYRMIDONS who were here with me would tell you does NOT have America OR Greece's best interests at heart. This party is so far in bed with the enemy that they might as well move in to a Sultan's palace in Turkish occupied Anatolia. At any rate, with the election of two MYRMIDONS Congressmen in that party this last term, and the growing presence of their MU in the eUSA again, I just wanted to share this information with everyone. This is the sad tale of a military unit that I once universally considered my friends, who stuck a dagger in my back and who betrayed their own people by their blind devotion to the every command of the greatest traitor to Greece that the eWorld has ever known. Enjoy your new alliance with people who couldn't even point to Athens on a map. Congratulations, you've been Trojan horsed.

There are still some Greeks who have not betrayed their country. To those brave ones, I salute you.
