7/26/2009: Peace treaty with Italy Yes Closes a war with a country that could attack us otherwise.

Citizenship goes into effect at 1:00 server time Day 617 (July 29, 2009). All eRepublic citizens will become citizens of the country in which they are located at that time. Once you are a citizen, you will be able to change your citizenship only by applying to a nation's Congressmembers. If you want to remain an eUS citizen, you MUST be located in the eUS at that time. (Citizenship will not apply to states.) So, be sure your character is located in the eUS when you log off on Day 618 (July 28. 2009).
