Liberation in Europe

Here in Europe war has been raging and most people have been involved at some point or other. Here is your guide to what Europe looks like on Day 802 and a little bit on why.


France



France is the cream coloured regions


Yesterday, the UK returned the French region 'Lower Normandy' that we captured off the Spainards the day before. It was a tough fight, UK (ranked 12 in the world) against Spain (ranked 4 in the world). Granted we had Phoenix support, but even without this the UK beat Spain one on one.


Returning the region to France meant that Spain could not counter attack and have another one on one with us. France has 8 MPP's so is able to halt any attacks on their original regions with ease (and can now concentrate on offensives).


Yesterday France launched 3 attacks on Spain now that they have a border with them. If you take a look at the map you will also see Limousin that the French RWed back recently too. With 3 regions and battles that are going well in the French favour and it looks very much like France will have 6 regions by the end of today.


With France plus their 8 MPP's they will be able to push Spain out of their nation easily. The task now for the UK is to break through Spanish held region of France to get a border with Poland so the UK our allies that have MPP's with us that are open against Poland can destroy the Polish army in traditionally French and German regions.


Germany



Germany is the lightest green nation on the map


I look forward to Poland or Spain opening German MPP's as sadly the Germans don't have any wars open at the moment so can only aid the general bashing that EDEN is taking by moving nations.


Rest assured Germany that while UK forces and other Phoenix powers are making a mess of Spaniards in France, we have not forgotten you. We are still ready to aid you, and look forward to banishing the weak Polish population back to where they came from.


Prepare to be liberated Germany. In the mean time Phoenix and in particularly German players should subscribe to Konrads paper and the German armies orders.


Bulgaria



Bulgaria is the purple nation


Serbia yesterday RWed the Bulgarian capital Sofia back after they captured it from Romania. That just leaves Plovdiv to be given back by Serbia to Bulgaria until their country is complete again.


With Romania and Croatia taking a back seat in EDEN it looks like regions next to them can relax a little.


Slovenia



Slovenia is the small light blue nation in the centre


Recently brought back by resistance wars it is easy to forget the return to the map of Slovenia as it is not reported on much compared to other events.

The recovery of Slovenia all started with Phoenix taking part in a massive united strike in one region. After the re-emergence, nations rushed to MPP with them to stop Slovenia being erased again from the map after all the money that was spend on liberating a single region.

Today Slovenia consists of 4 regions, however work is not finished here with Croatia still holding some of their regions. They now have 2 Q5 hospitals and with their allies I am sure the future will be bright in this corner of Europe.


A little extra


Before I end I would like to shout out to the US, while they are residing on our continent. You made me laugh very loudly Jewitt with your article on attacking the UK. I would point out that Lower Normandy is not the UK, it is French and we were giving it back when you attacked. I thought you would realise the battle would become void once it was handed back to the French.
