There is a conflict of interests.

In the other forum we all agreed to put taxes:

INCOME 10% on manufactoring
10% on raw
0% diamonds

VAT 10% weapons, gifts, tickets, houses
5% food

IMPORT 99% raw
5% others

And now everyone is putting taxes randomly...

I vote NO.

conflict of interests... then why the taxes on raw materials as high as they are? Don't you own a raw materials company?

not ALL agreed to the taxes.. furthermore, the situation has changed a LOT in the last couple of weeks, so taxes have to be adjusted accordingly.

I can see the economic inexperience with some people or is it self-interest which keeps people from thinking correctly economically?

i have a raw comp but i have discussed about taxes in congress and i have not proposed a law without listened the congressmen.

Every congressman is entitled to propose a law. If the majority votes yes, the majority agrees. It is as simple as that.

Too bad for some people they don't agree, but that's politics.

dionysus we created a forum with a congress section to DISCUSS every proposal. If every congressmen propose what he wants this is not democracy, this is caos and loss of time.

Oh for gods sake you sound like a child Ipnotik! The fact that we created the congress section on the national forum doesn't mean that everyone has to post his proposal there before he or she proposes it ingame, everyone has the right to propose a law if they can. Only thing is that if you post it on the forum first you have a better chance of getting your law in.

Ipnotik. Great, NOW important things have to be DISCUSSED at the forum first. Where was the DISCUSSION when you decided to donate all OUR money to Italy. I can't recall any DISCUSSION. I am sick and tired of your hypocrisy.
The congress system ingame allows people to propose laws, whether you like it or not.
You are allowed to vote no, but don't you ever talk about conflict of interest.

Sorry, but with this I don't have any direct profit with this law...

The VAT is low becouse we don't have to much currencies in circulation.
The Import is equal.
And the Income was more high as the previous

@Ipnotik, nobody post nothing in the Forum before send a proposal.

If you don't like it, the next time I will do a post with the proposal.

We need first to resolve the embezzlement and then we must make a constitution for regulate the congress and other things.

There is something really strange about the sudden love for democracy here. Was there EVER any discussion about the gold going to Italy? As I recall, even the "answers" we got were along the lines of "Italy needed that gold for our defense." Not exactly y'know, debate and Congressional approval...
