Holiday Bugs, PTOs, and Good-byes

As we all know, bugs tormented people left and right yesterday, basically rendering the English version - as well as other versions - of the game useless. In a rare visit to the game forums, I signed a letter requesting admin to Shut Down eRepublik Temporarily. Borrowing the list from that Open Letter to Admin, I would like to include it here;

1. Messaging Module has failed.
2. When one moves to a country to fight it does not allow them to and says they are still in the original country.
3. Headless chickens during battle declarations.
4. Country Administration module bug.
5. General Managers cant fire workers
6. When one does fight in a battle, it does not register on wellness or on the battle screen but it does remove weapons and add experience.
7. Publishing of articles and article comments fail.
8. Also, it appears the English version is messed up...

This doesn't even include the previous days of bugs, including the PENDING bug described by Allied Commander Gaius Julius here. With the new version coming, one has to wonder if admin will have this all fixed. As President Jewitt described it, it was A Very Bad Day. A day so bad, Chocolate McSkittles is calling it Quits! THAT's about as bad as it gets.


I am also calling it quits - Quits to Congress! Today marks the second to last day of my third term in office. Like the Led Zeppelin song says, "Good Times... Bad Times... You know I had my Share." I've met some awesome people in Congress and used Congress as a step-up to where I am now, the Cabinet. I will hopefully be joining the eUSA Army soon, and have taken the helm as Party President of an eAmerican party. To my friends in Congress, Good Luck!


On December 5, 2009; I was democratically elected as the new Party President of the Republican Party. As I stated in my last article, I had come to the Repugs to make the party better, but after a tug-of-war with the Leadership there, I ended up PTOing the party. It is now known as the Haight Independence Party, and it's members can be known as HIPpies.


The person I think was the most angry about the whole situation was former ePOTUS candidate Greg 454. He viciously attacked me and my RL values and views, and even called me names such as Hitler, Chavez, and Obama. I have no idea who those people are in-game, but Greg proved time and time again that he was not talking about the game when he addressed me. Coincidently, Greg 454 was banned. Now he goes by the name Blood Money.



The Salvation Army Project has gotten off to a slow start due to the holiday season, but new Deputy Director Daniel Dodge is bringing his knowledge from the Wasteland Commission, along with that org's volunteers; to the over 25 volunteers for the Salvation Army to really get it rolling after the holidays.
