Geezus for president? You do the Math(s)

So Geezus says this regarding taxation:
“Lower Tax
The current Economic system of low taxes does not necessarily mean less government revenue. The reduction will stimulate the economy and the market. If we want more income later now we need to lower taxes!”
I’d like to go over a few figures that I’m privy to. These are our tax revnues. As MoFA for the last month the amount of income we have is incredibly relevant to me as it dictates what I can do in terms of signing new MPPs. I’ve been having to pay an especially close eye to this ever since a certain MoF abandoned his post and left Japan in the lurch.
Our income over the last 3 weeks has been:
19229
25704
19229
I don’t consider these figures to be secret seeing as anyone checking daily or even weekly could work them out.
If we average that we get 21387. If we then times that by 4 we work out that the average for a month with income like that would be 85549 Yen.
For those of you unsure as to what a MPP costs I can confirm for you that each one signed costs the nation 10,000 yen.
Putting this figures together we can see that Japan can afford to maintain on our current revenues 8 and a half MPPs.
I will now compare this to 3 of our allies in COT. It is worth noting all 3 of them have at least a slightly smaller population than ours yet currently have:
Switzerlan😛
22 MPPs
New Zealan😛
27 MPPs
South Korea: 28 MPPs
So how can they afford these? Higher taxes is the answer.
Can any reasonable country survive on 8 MPPs? I can assure that is not the case. Now more than ever due to the threat of airstrikes it is necessary to maintain a strong MPP list. When France proposed an airstrike against Japan, Japan had 10 MPPs, so you can rest assured that if anyone wants to, 8 MPPs won’t disuade them.
Furthermore I can inform you that this war with Taiwan is expensive. We lose most likely thousands in tax revenue each day as a result of lower production, and our markets being closed to foreign buyers and sellers due to our being wiped. How anyone can propose maintaining a war whilst lowering taxes based on the figures relating to Japan is pure insanity.
I can also tell you that a few % more tax difference will not have much difference to the small individual sellers, it will cost them a couple of yen each. For them this isn’t much but for the nation it adds up. For the nation it is good!
But who who else is affected by a couple of % points higher tax? Well powersellers of course... those who have tens of thousands of products on the market.
So the long and short of Geezus’s foreign and economic policy is to keep us at war and therefore keep our markets closed to foreign competitors, and to keep taxation low.
So who really benefits from all this?

UK MoF here, Greatmoff is right- this guy's economic policy is madness! Japan needs money for MPPs!
It's unnecessary to sign more MPPs, because we are wiped and the allies cant help us without moving.
The taxes are also unnecessary without congress, and everybody benefits from the tax cut. You and me too.
No those who sell the most benefit the most from tax cuts. A 5% tax increase means little more for most people, but is a big difference for the country.
Our aim is to have it so the country ISN'T wiped. Taiwan will never agree to peace and to return any regions to a country that won't be able to defend itself. Any successful RWs even if we did fight would soon be wiped out as we'd not be able to hold any gains by MPP battles.
Unfortunately, we cant liberate our country tomorrow.
mhm what is the topic here? difficult to understand whats written... sry +_+

Koppanyi, join the national army and you will feel the benifts of getting weapons. The benefit Geezus would cut. Do not get me wrong, in RL I would be supportive of lower taxes, lower spending, but Erepublik is Erepublik. Big difference.
Yudakens, the differece between IRL and RL economy that there you try to steal the money.
Lower taxes, less expenditure. This is my program. Ask people if they want cheaper food and weapons at the market or not,
Tax cuts you can not afford are not good tax cuts.
v!
You are obviously incapable of handling the money you have now.
Giving you more is foolishness IMO.
incapable of handling the money? No, it was an admin mistake. Sorry, facts.
