A Tale of Deceit, Lies, and Cheap Trickery

Day 936, 06:04 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Jhorlin

This is getting beyond a joke. As a result of my running for TUP Party Presidency (which seems to be the only way to cure the illegal House of Lords abolition), various elements of the left have decided that instead of trying to fight a fair fight, they will try to undermine my authority as the military head of this country.

I can only assume that I stand (or previously stood) a good chance of winning the TUP Party Presidency, otherwise they wouldn't have got this worried.

So sit back for a tale of lies, deceit, and cheap trickery.

The episode started today, when TUP sheep number 1, let's call him IndiaKed asked me why there were no MoD orders for the day. After treating this as a relatively benign question, I later discovered that TUP sheep number 2 logged in to the Ministry of Defence and deleted yesterday's MoD orders, which bumped my TUP article (I might add, this was the same TUP article that hasn't been org voted with military organisations in order to keep military + politics separate) into the top 5. Very shortly afterwards (conveniently), TUP sheep number 1 releases an article suggesting that I'm untrustworthy, and abuse military resources.

Worse still, when asked to post a new article (despite there being no orders) so that MoD can remain in the top 5 for when there is, the new article was trolled by TUP, including 2 people who really ought to know better (let's call them BiroCollinder and IndiaKed). This proves that they're trying to undermine my authority, and that they have absolutely no care for this country, but that it's always political. I am able to separate my military and personal capacity, and it's a pity that these 2 cannot.

This will not be tolerated.

Firstly, I'm disappointed by the number of people who actually believed this could be true. Those in military command know that I more than anyone have fought fervantly for an apolitical military. I consistantly pushed for rules that stopped MoD orgs being used to vote for political articles, and have encouraged military personnel to leave politics at the door.

I've had access to a wealth of military organisations and resources for some time now, and have proved time and time again that I'm trust-worthy. Yet, a good time into my tenure as CGS (almost a month now), these allegations are coming out. Quite frankly, this is ridiculous.

I've fought for the House of Lords, as I believe democracy is a reasonable cause to fight for. TUP illegitimately passed an Act which abolishes the House of Lords, and the only way to save it is to become TUP Party President (who casts the deciding vote as to whether to accept a Lord). Then, when people freely choose to run for TUP Party President, as democracy lets them, they resort to this low-level bullying tactic. It won't work. This isn't some totalitarian state where you can bully and smear people into submission. No.

I shall not be resigning as the Chief of General Staff based on allegations constructed by some butthurt conspiracy. I shall also continue my fight against the illegal House of Lords repeal with renewed vigour. Yet, even as this fight continues, I will not abuse military resources to continue it.

I warn you now: you've gone too far. I've put so much energy and effort into this military, I will not have my reputation smeared just because you're butthurt about me resisting your House of Lords reform.
