{Omega Eireann} Congress results and CP candidate

Greetings eIreland,
First of all, we here at Omega Eireann would like to thank the 56 people who came out to vote. No matter who you voted for, you took part in the democratic process of eIreland and hopefully the representatives you voted for, work in your best interests and the best interests of eIreland.
At the coming together of the 108th session of eIreland's congress, Omega Eireann takes a look at the voting trend and a few different aspects that can be seen in it.

As we can see from the above image, Eire Aonair secured the most votes in eIreland. Their party being the largest in eIreland, with 21 members, polled strongly. However looking at the amount of votes cast, it is only a small fraction of their party power base. Yet on the other hand, we can see with Irish Freedom Party having a strong voter turn out (compared to members) with 9 votes in total, while sharing a 9 member party. This could be read as all their party members coming out to vote, or their appeal to members of the other parties.
For Omega Eireann, we unfortunately dropped 6 votes, which reflected in a whopping 9.55% drop in the total votes. This could be a sign of people moving out of the party (the congress list also decreased by 4 people) or a movement away from belief in what the party stands for.
However, why these results mark a big change from last term (where the ILP was second in the voting tally, but now 4th) across the board, it appears to not of been capitalized by the parties in getting bums on the chairs.
The congress make up
While Eire Aonair managed to secure the most votes, this is some what reflected poorly in congress seats. With them only securing 7 members in congress (all be it 100% of congress members running, but they had potential to get more people in). These 7 people inturn gives them 19% of the congress vote.
Omega Eireann while not getting the most votes, managed to be lucky enough to have a strong amount of it's members running, which enabled it to gain the most seats in congress of 9 or 25% of the congress vote.
It is worth noting, that all parties manage to get all their congress members into parliament and no one party has the majority of control. How this plays out after the up coming CP elections is yet to be seen, but it would be a good guess to think the majority of people will vote along CP lines, as the majority believe in doing what is good for the nation.
Us here at Omega Eireann will use the power the people of eIreland granted us to try and help the government, no matter who is elected and to help further eIrelands growth.
CP Elections
Omega Eireann would like to annouce our CP Candidate for this upcoming election to be Kattiaa. We hope to see a policy paper produced by her in the next few days and encourage all to ask any questions of this candidate. She has a good track record in working for the government, both in various ministerial roles as well as CP and we believe she will continue to serve eIreland with the best interest of the nation at heart.

Your analysis forgets one group. There are Irish that do not belong to any party. Some of these are old Irish and vote for the IFP party each month but do not belong to the party. Question why do you think the ILP dropped?
The ILP could of dropped for many reasons, with out actually tracking the daily party figures (membership wise), the immigration in and out of the country, I can only make assumptions based on the facts I have at hand.
In regards to the non-party affiliated, to actually try and work out the numbers of that or at least percentage wise, I would most likely have to track the 'activity' levels of every eIrish citizen and to see if they are active during the voting day, even then it would come to an assumption if the votes casted from them ended up in a particular party.
The main thing with the figures I had, I can just see if a party manage to get more votes then its membership. I know in the past this has happened in some countries, which presents its own questions in regards to votes either being taken from another party or people not interested in party politics but interested in who will be in congress.
I personally am more into the political aspect of this game (all though it has waned quite a bit from yesteryear) and would love to see congress mirror RL politics, where a party has to try and sway the minor's or independents to gain voting control of the parliament/congress. For example, having the minor parties building a collation to make sure their supporters and people are looked after by the government. Maybe we will see that with the city mayor updates (budget wise etc) if it ever happens.

I have been in IFP party 8 years, four of the other 9 votes have been in the party longer then me. We are a very old party. At this games peak politics were fun. The IFP party had 250 members. We ran our own party forum for years, orgs, newspaper, companies and advertised. We would appoint an elections coordinator who would work out our congress strategy and cuminicate it through the day, back when you voted for individuals in regions. We would work out deals with small parties to run there canadites in our party, take over small parties for CP support, make deals with large parties for CP support, etc. I lost my first CP election in Ireland and still had over 200 votes. Then there were 20 new players joining the country each day. Those days are long gone.
The ILP had voter drones. These were old long time members who are not active anymore. Every month the only exp point they would gain is from voting. Several of them would vote with in 5 min of each other. Old players would quite playing and give there log in details to last active voter.
While I dont have screen shots, I am pretty sure some of the votes in this election have been removed. It would be interesting to see which ones have been, but we will never know

It was a brief look at the elections, not an in depth look at every party.
