There are many people who dislikes, don't understand or do not have time enough to understand or to like V2 Military Module. As a result, they have step aside from battles, military module, and especially and most important, from buying weapons. This is very bad for us all, if we consider that the base (the base and everything) of our economy is war production. Most olders miss the wall and those youngsters that known nothing about walls, have been shocked by how expensive and unrewarding fighting can be. So far, nothing new.

From now on, new things. From this humble newspaper we want to propose another idea (another one) to "save" eRepublik, eRising, eRaising, V2 or whatever. The concept is painfully simple:

THE WALL should be recovered.

Easy. Issue fixed. And conceptually not too difficult (I can't say how difficult would be programming it, though).

The key to do this without being a change too traumatic would be to reuse Defensive Systems as the New Walls.

"DS CAN INTO WALLS"

Things could go like this:
Our character, John 2-clicker, wants to help his eCountry and join in a battle that he has read that is very important for some confusing strategic reason. All he has to do is to buy a cheap weapon, since no one is (should be) allowed to enter the battlefield without a weapon, deploy himself in the DS and forget about. With these two simple clicks, John 2-clicker helped his eCountry and the whole economic system, so he is rewarded with some experience or chosen weapon skill points. Whatever.

Are you convinced yet?

Some additional considerations would be:

a) In this scenario, both Attackers and Defenders could be deployed SIMULTANEOUSLY in the DS, but once they are there, they should not be allowed to leave, unless they retreat from battlefield.
b) In the same way, “normal” combatants could not enter the SD without withdrawing from battle. DS would be reserved for John 2-clickers.
c) The defense bonus DS would would give would be related to the sum of the weapon defenses of all two-clicker weapons deployed in the DS. The enemy would enjoy exactly the same treatment.

This idea admits lots of variations, but the aim is unique: make players who were comfortable playing with fewer clicks back into the game. Draw them again to fighting and buying products by using new structures (DS's) to support old ideas (WALLS).

If you consider that this is a good idea, borrow it, do it yours, improve it and, above all, get adm*ns listen to you and implement it in the game. That would be the hardest part.
