[DAP] Party manifesto for the elections
DAP Fund
Democratic Action Party has been the leading party of eMalaysia and then FRoSEA for months now providing presidents and lots of congress members from our ranks while proving to be a stable, constructive and reliable force. We are proud to have been able to contribute significantly to the steady and continuous development of the country and intend to do so in the future as well for which we ask for your support in the upcoming congress elections. Most of our candidates are proven, long term citizens of FRoSEA who are active in-game and on the national forums as well and you can count on them also when it comes to helping the country with donations and other stuff.
DAP could be best described in a few words as a pro-free market centre party with a strong sense for social responsibility, but let's expand on it a bit:
Economy
DAP stands for a free market economy with low to moderate taxation and with rather minimal government intrusion limited to running training companies helping new users, channeling them into the appropriate sectors and in the meantime building out reserves from the most basic goods. We believe in protecting viable local industries by providing them a competitive advantage through import taxes but not in a completely protectionist tax policy. Still being a rather small country with limited monetary supply we also support a regulative monetary policy targeted at keeping the MYR stable.
Social Affairs, Society
We find helping new players of utmost importance. Active users are the key assets of every nation and the wellness, mentoring and relocation programs helping new users are extremely important to keep as many of them in the game as possible so they deserve full funding.
Attracting new players into the game and also immigrants from other e-countries both have our support. We find the open-minded, welcoming and friendly nature of our society one of our biggest assets. This doesn’t mean though that we don’t have to be vary of possible PTOs and so on and our congress members will act carefully when granting citizenships.
We believe in the importance of public discourse (be it in English, Malay or Thai) and support the community building out additional political structures, institutions, protocols on the basis provided by the game.
Foreign affairs
Democratic Action Party fully supports the country’s neutrality and continued membership in Sol and finds important further expanding our worldwide relations both through Sol (with a possible expansion of Sol in numbers as well) and alone. We value stability in the region high and think Sol is an ideal initiative for preserving that.
Military
We support a more of a broad, militia-like military which is well structured and organized, but focuses mostly on defending our homeland and doesn’t eat a lot of money (spends minimal amount of money in peace time). We are not against foreign missions especially for helping friends but wouldn’t like to see a military that is a huge spender and carelessly jumps into dubious missions. In essence we support the current military organization.
Of course the Sol Games are very important for the development of our population and they should be continued as long as possible. We might even consider entering another war games too, if the two together could provide close to 24/7 coverage for us with regards to battles.
If you sympatize with our goals please feel free to join us in DAP and/or vote for our candidates on Friday (25th September) on the congress elections. We also welcome new members with open arms on our subforum at the national forums and in our chatroom (#DAP on rizon.net/chat).
In the following article we’ll present our official candidate list, so please stay tuned!
🙂
Best regards,
Nagyzee
(party president of DAP)

Nice article, Good Luck 😃
i Stand completely for DAP
DAP for the WIN! ALthough, i have to admit, it is quite hard to discern between the FUP and DAP manifestos - but DAP has the experience and the active leaders! Woot.
Vote for me!
I think concise and to the point is key...
Yeah, it's indeed hard to find differences. FUP seems like having plans to spend more on the military but I might be misunderstanding it.
The only part that I really didn't like in their manifesto is the proposal to increase the VAT. I'm fully against that suggestion.
Indeed, we are supporting for military spending and also slight increase of VAT to expand the government revenue as the government can't just rely with printing MYR.
Apart from that, we encourage the usage multiple languages in communication with maintaining english as the main communication language.
And also we encourage the development of various ereligion in the nation 😃
I guess that round up the significant different of our manifesto
DAP FOR THE WIN... will vote with all my heart and soul

gen_tiger, the government doesn't rely on printing for revenue, that's simply untrue. And the tax income has increased significantly after the last tax reform. And only 1-2 weeks after you want to increase it further?
We also have nothing against publishing in Thai or Malaysian, and have no problems with e-religions, so those are not differences, sorry.
Nagyzee, currently there are more then MYR30k available in the central bank (including the 8.7k in the monetary market). Apart from the 30k that we have printed, we had only transferred nation revenue of MYR9800 into central bank. This shows that our nation expenses are almost on par with our revenue, which is great.
We are expecting more and more new citizens arrive and no doubt that is going to burden the social office. Apart from that, FUP have also propose to provide funding to military for exercise and also weapon reserve. In order to accommodate the increase of expenses (we are also want a balance expenses sheet 😁) that is why we are proposing and increase of VAT for around 1-2%.
And regarding on the language and e-religion, our stand is we "encourage" which we "welcome" and "support" the usage of local language and the development of e-religion.
As in your previous comment DAP stand is "nothing against and no problems" which have show that the DAP is welcome (?) the usage of local language and the development of e-religion.
Thus indeed there is a different view by both parties😃
Well, the fact is that the reserves of the state have continuously increased in the last few months. Yes, most of it's from printing but still. The main expense is the war games. Weekly tax income is around 70-80 gold probably and from that 28.5-38 gold goes for the war games. The expenses of the Social Office are in fact rather low. Most newbies don't burden the Social Office as they quit playing in 0-2 days. Retention rate is very low and our current citizen number is extremely misleading.
Also have you missed the debates regarding the last tax reform? There is a very good reason why the VAT was set at 1%. It makes our market more competitive.
And in general I think we should adapt our expenses to our incomes and not the other way around.
On the other topic (e-religion, etc.) I still uphold that it's just a difference in words and nothing else.
Nagyzee, the retention rate is low because there's no form or structure to help and retain these newbies. Unless the newbies are proactive about making strides in the game, there's no way or clue for anyone to know anything. the wiki pages in English are also very poor.
FUP, from where i stand, represents multiculturalism and perhaps a lean towards militaristic. While DAP represents free-economic and minimal govt intervention in all aspects (including speech and e-religion).
I believe DAP has done very well thus far esp in maintaining growth and stability - which is why I am standing as a dAP candidate. I believe un-necessary spending is futile. But in a way, i also support the VAT increse proposed by FUP, as i believe the state government should have more reserves, esp in uncertain times ahead.
