*another..candidate, from Skooma Dean*
Greetings. My name is Skooma Dean, and I'm running for congress here in South Korea. Anyway, I’m going to explain why I have the best interests in mind for South Korea, and what these interests are.
First and foremost, the economy here is less than what it could be. I don’t want to sugar-coat it, but I have seen a few problems that I am sure could be helped. This does in fact include the food industry. In an erep economy where only two companies are producing food for a country, the economy is destabilized. One company cannot have a ‘monopoly’ on a quality of food, because this is not a secure economic situation. I would like to help create more food companies in any way possible.
Second, how do you know you can trust me? How can you be sure I’m not just here for the five gold? Well, in my previous job in Spain, I had an income of about the equivalent of 5 gold every six days, and it required no effort. Why not just continue working there? Because I am more concerned with the Korean economic system. Furthermore, I am not aligned to any other particular country at the moment, though I have worked in several.
Finally, I am aware that more than a few people are concerned with an impending political takeover here in Korea. I intend to help secure our government, if possible, and prevent such an event from occurring.
If you have any questions or comments, please be civil, and I will address you.
~Skooma Dean, reformer.

Good luck, I hope you win!
do you have any details as to how you will expand our food industry?
@Nile Thank you for your support (:.
@Dollylahmuh My main objective is to create more companies in order to produce not only more qualities of food, but to help stabilize the economy. As I am posting this, a result of the 'monopoly' on food here is that there is no visible food for sale at the moment. I also want to increase the population of South Korea to help improve production.
Finally, some sense in the news.
Surely we can bring Korea to a new strength.
How do you propose to create new food companies and how do you propose to increase the population?
As you claim to want to stay in Korea to help us and you aren't just after a congress medal and 5gold would you have any objection to signing an 'Oath of Office' Contract stating that if elected you agree to reside in South Korea for the full term of office until the day before the next congressional elections and if you break this contract you agree to donate 10 gold to the South Korean Treasury?
@Omega Thanks for the sentiments 😁
@Kyushu First off, Im planning to not only convince those I have influence over (i.e., my friends), but I'm also going to invite others to Korea as well, through a subtle campaign, which I can go into more detail on when it is further planned. Once I acquire enough wealth myself, I will eventually start a company of my own, probably a food company, though it may certainly be a while before I am ready to do so.
As for the oath you mentioned, I'm not sure if you are qualified to ask this of me, but I nevertheless will agree to those terms to the extent of my ability (Pretty sure there's nothing that can force me to leave anyway). And as a show of good faith, I may donate the gold I receive to an organization, I'm pretty sure I won't need it, as my company plan is not for the present, but I can't be sure at the moment. Let me know if you have any questions.
@ skooma: you're not answering my question. HOW will you do it. HOW will you create more companies.
i'm not saying you don't have well directed intentions, you just haven't laid out any specific plans.
@Dollylahmuh Creating more companies is not as much of a direct effort, but more of an intended outcome. To be clear, Increasing the population of Korea by way of invitations will help create companies, and I also think it would be a good idea to donate some money to company organizations starting out, if possible, until we get a few more companies going. I'm also open to any suggestions, and let me know if I'm still being confusing / 더 많은 기업이 직접 만들기로 노력의 정도, 아니지만 의도한 결과 더.
Hey Dolly, I'm a soldier. I got my own funds, and when I come over, I will help Dean set up these companies. 😁 WE HAZ OUR OWN MONAH
I like that you give convincing answers and I hope you stay in Korea and enjoy a fruitful political career and help us make Korea a better nation.
From the sound of your ideology you would be at home in the KSDP, you should join our party! 😃
Ugh, you're getting better responses than I XD
Way to go Skooma
as far as expanding the economy i agree that our primary concern is our size. both our labor market and consumer base are just not big enough to support a lot of businesses. so i agree that getting more people, and opening up the market to entrepreneurship should be our cheif concerns. so far, francis has brought numerous people to the country, and i believe is working on a korean loan program - a government run program whereby citizens interested in starting a business would take out an interest free loan from the gov. so they could start the company.
it's not that i don't agree with you skooma, i just wanted to hear specifics.
I just want to see bread in the shops right now! Yet again there is no food to buy, if the local food companies can't produce enough to feed our limited population then the import tax on food needs removing immediately until we have enough food to avoid starvation.
I've been trying to get people to move to Korea but two today refused because there is no food to buy!
@Kyushu Thanks a lot for the support, and I might change parties once Ive had more experience on the political situation in Korea (: /
@Omega Don't worry about it, your campaign is going pretty well too XP
@Dollyahmuh I like your loan idea, and it's not far off from what I have in mind. Also, I do support the businesses we already have in South Korea, being the current structure for our economic system. What I don't agree with is the notion that the current workforce we have is enough, which is what some people are suggesting. Thanks for the support (:.
Two other people using span tags in their headers in one day!
I think I may have started something 😉
Anyhow, best of luck to everyone in the elections.
Good to see a candidate with details and an appreciation of the SK economy.
And you are right about the food sector - if you can attract some new labour to the coutnry and start a new food company then the chances of their being no food available due to either low output or someone being at work/asleep then thats great.
If you can create a food company of medium to high quality then - even better! The 'monopoly' I have (and I'm appreciative of the quotation marks) is not by design and brings a whole other raft of problems to my door - If someone else is ready to step-up and share the burden then that'd be great.
@Kyushu - Foods back on the market - Got back from work and had to do some number crunching first. Sorry.
"What I don't agree with is the notion that the current workforce we have is enough, which is what some people are suggesting."
Who told you that! - Our No1 priority is more eCitizens.
More eCitizens means more companies, better economy then all kinds of fancy loan programs/Hospitals etc... I'm always wary of a candidate that doesn't recognise the population promblem.
If I had a number of votes or even multi's then I would be mighty tempted to cast a vote for you.
skooma, I don't know what kind of translator you're using, but I know that's not correct korean grammar... (being korean myself;😉
@ Endy, thanks
@ Gibraltar Holdings, thanks for the support, and I don't think it was your organization suggesting that more citizens are unneccesary, but I have seen it around.
@Peter, At least someone can read it! lol, I'm not personally translating it, but I'm using software, so I know it would likely come out awkward anyway. Any suggestions on how I can change the wording to be more convenient?
