The U.S has been recently voted to be forced to pay the fine as written in the ATLANTIS charter, now I'm no genius (lol), but this seems like a terrible time for the U.S to be paying hundreds of gold out of it's weak treasury right?
Now I'm not an ATLANTIS hater, but the fine as already started to be paid. Wouldn't it make much more sense if we paid the fine down the road when things on the battlefront cooled off a bit?
We could use the 700+ gold much better battling the forces stemming up Mexico right now, rather than being forced to fork it over during a military crisis.
It's pretty simple, we won't leave ATLANTIS very soon, and if we must follow this to stay in, lets do it sensibly. Let's ask if we can pay the fine later down the road and use our current funds to fight PEACE forces.
Anyone agree?

I can understand this.
sounds like one of the first level headed approaches i've heard...
i sell q5 weapons for 2,2 gold. pm me if you want
ATLANTIS should never have asked for it in the first place.
Good article, Chisholm. I disagree on fine payment, as there are many reasons not to. This is nevertheless a boneheaded time to spend that kind of money.
Who voted for this?
I want the congressional report.
LATEST ORDERS: FIGHT FOR DEFENCE!!!
Congress never got a chance to vote on this. Uncle Sam did this without any official permission.
But Congress is voting now on whether to transfer 606 GOLD to Fort Knox.
if you are going to give away 600 gold... donate it to Singapore 🙂
We did just lose all of our money
Excellent idea.
Ah, an answer that isn't propaganda or just plain stupid.
