Why do YOU play eRepublik
asecondchance
The original concept of this game had many modules which could attract people differently. The business side, political side, war and military, a general community/newsletter approach.
Over time some of these modules improved, some (most?) got worse. I found myself wondering lately why do I keep playing. What makes me log in, train, work and fight (when Australia is at war).
I am not 100% sure I know why I do return. Perhaps it is simple as routine.
I originally had bought a number of businesses and wanted to build a dynasty. I lost hope long ago with that. I then liquidated and focused on strength. I try to write and would some day like to get a MM but only if I don't have to pay for it. So I guess there is no longer 1 reason I still login to play but really just enough crumbs left across the modules to keep me returning.
What about you? Why do you login daily? What does this game do right to make you want more?

I've just done it for too long to quit lol.

What he said 😁^
I log in every day because of the company of the great people I've met here. : )
erep is a good distraction
I log in every day to vanquish my mortal enemies.
Well I'm not sure too, I guess it's a way to say something and present yourself somewhere, do something useful and just play the game.
Oh and I subbed you, good luck with that dream.
I log in for the entertainment factor, I like to see what TJ will say and do next, and it's always interesting to see what kind of mess our dear leaders have gotten us into while I was asleep.
I have no life 😞
Like above, I've just been playing too long to give up now. I also like the fact that I can just log in 5 minutes each day and get everything done ... Much better than most other online strategy games which basically try to get you to play as much as possible and for as long as possible, eRepublik is entirely optional on how much you want to get involved. 🙂
To serve eAustralia as a non corrupt parliament member keeping eAus free.
Hi my name is Jeff and I have a problem...
Boredom.
I'm too stubborn to leave, even though the game is rubbish.
