[Irule4CP] FA - The Problem/CoT

Irule777 for Prime Minister
We’re NE’d, attacked and bullied on an average basis. We suffer the abuse and constant annoyance others pose on us. The Circle of Trust has brought nothing but constant trouble to the Australian nation, our people, and our politics. It affects not only our Defence and Foreign Policies, but every internal agenda item that comes up. CoT is dying, and we’re very happy to no longer be apart of it.
It’s unthinkable to me to hear people speak about being friends with CoT, or “leaving that door open”. Australia has played host to the imperialistic nations of the world for far too long and attempted to time and time again, ally ourselves with these people to end it. Months ago, it sounded like a great idea. Now? Not even close. Australia will no longer play host to these imperialistic nations nor shall we allow them to continuously abuse our friends and allies.
If elected Prime Minister, I will not allow us to go down such a path. People have wished to be ruled by cowardly, arrogant and greedy imperialist nations and citizens in the name of a deal for a few regions. It compromises our security, our sovereignty, and our community. Australians now have come to light more and more on how bad of an idea it is, and I couldn’t agree more.
Stand up. Fight for the regions that are rightfully ours. If elected, I will never sit down and allow greedy bunches of players to control our regions at will because we’re too wimpy to figure something out ourselves. Australia is a strong nation and I will never accept anything less. NaN is a growing alliance, many small nations can achieve a lot and our MPP stack is on the rise, this month we’ve come up with more communications with nations than ever and have made huge moves in the field of foreign affairs towards all sorts of new directions. We have loads of new options on the table that weren’t there last month, and I won’t accept going back to a CoT controlled policy.
Don’t accept our nation for anything less then we have the potential to be. Through MPPs, ADF and MU coordination, the NaN and our own citizens, we can fend off the threat. Don’t expect it to be easy. I don’t and many others do not, but we’ll have fun doing it and be sure to annoy imperialistic nations and make sincere efforts into recovering our regions, while stopping their growth. But to sit down and to take the easy way, bargain for a few nations with people who will never let us into CoT or their MPP stacks, it’s stupidity. Many great people have said that madness is doing the same thing and expecting different results. Australia is on the path towards creating a new alliance, the NaN, which has attracted loads of interest. We’ve started building an MPP stack, and as an MoFA, I can personally say that we’ve made huge advances in foreign relations with potential partners and allies this month.
Australia has hit a bump and started heading in the wrong direction. The old is gone and the new is here and we will work towards that new and exciting different direction that this bump has caused us to swing into.

irule777, I should be coming to Australia (if I am accepted by the congress, of course) after the gold mine week. Will I be able to help out in the government?

GL guys o//
The chile situation was always going to be a major hurdle when joining CoT; I will admit, I blame aussie CPs more than anyone for it's failure but that is the past.
I've always gotten on well with the people from SA, they were one of the few countries I had reservations about dumping when we were looking into CoT, and I'm glad too see they're happy to have us back; they suffered rather heavily at Brazil's hands if I recall, and then with us leaving for CoT, they must have felt rather vulnerable.
IRule, you're a good guy with good idea's, I'll vote for ya.
what difference in policy do you have to our current PM (i like what you stand for, but it doesnt sound unique - which certainly isnt a bad thing)
Fair is fair but it's about time candidates located their brain instead of banging the CoT Vs anti-CoT drum. With them or against them eAustralia will be dealing with them at the very least 6 Prime Ministers from now. Best to be on their good side than not.
Michael, "better get on their good side?.. mate that is an impossibility, Chile decided long ago that they wanted Australia wiped and wanted us to all quit. Chile simply won't change, there is nothing at all we can do to get on their good side, for a start they will think we are crawling wimps and despise us even more. It would have been easier to deal with Vlad The Impaler or Ivan The Terrible than to deal with eChile. Face it, CoT is bad news, they offered us a deal..... be our slaves forever, bow down and kiss our boots,.. when did you ever meet an Aussie who would do that ?
It's a lot less complex than people make it out to be. I could say a lot of things myself. Aligning with CoT after what's gone on between eAus and eChile is virtually impossible - I'll grant you that.
It comes down to one question though: Will eAustralia be prepared for a long-term wipe? A certainty - nothing but an absolute certainty - surrounded by CoT countries and being an isolationist anti-CoT nation = total wipe.
Not having a go at you but we could really have this argument all week (since it's been had the last 3 months without end what's one week more right lol) but there is a difference at present. eChile is after you guys - no doubt. But being on the edge with recovery options is better than declaring total enemy status and having zero options.
The long and short of NaN's failure from the start is it has no strength in a regional alliance, crucial to borders which are the be all and end all of game mechanics on warfare. Without some allies on your borders it won't work. In case you're thinking eSA I won't indulge that. They've been wiped more continously than eAus has over the past year and are a joke. The easy tell is if they were anything they would have worked it out by now. 1 weak nation like eSA + 1 nation having difficulties like eAus will drag eAus down.
we are basicly totally wiped, always have been it seems. Fact is, CoT is very bad, there is nothing eWorse than CoT in this game. What we need is CoT to die, hopefully it will implode soon.. lets face this too, eChile and eIndo are completely incompatible, surely they eye each other off, we know they can't be trusted so no way do they trust each other. I will dance and spit on CoT's grave when it happens... may CoT rot in eHell
Chile is a patheyic coward who thinks invading a country with 20 times as many troops as the victim country as if it isn't stealing.. of course it is theft, there is no other word for it. It wouldnt be acceptable in any world, real or otherwise they are pirates and theives, I have zero respect for gutless wonders like Chile, what a no good bunch they are. We tried being neutral.. guess what, Chile disgraced its name even more by attacking us, eChile has almost the worst reputation in eWorld, I havent got time or space to talk about Indo... I would need to write volumes to list how cowardly they are. All the enemies will get from me is sullen resistance, I will fight with any nation that hits Chile, I wont hit other countries much, I will help any ally, but the rest of my damage goes to Chile, they can never kill me, game mechanics dont allow that
Good luck.
I swear i have heard this campaign speech before and nothing gets done. Little too late.
