[PCP] Results of the first 'InGame' Poll
Ayame Crocodile
For a long time we at the PCP have believed in being a party that responds to the will of it's members, in everyone's opinions within the party having an equal worth and that consensus is the only way to reach a fair decision on where the party should be headed and in deciding what issues the party should be trying to tackle.
It's because of this that we had a vote a little while ago about whether or not we should start moving our polls from the forum to ingame, the idea was that by moving ingame we not only made votes easier for members to take part in but also meant that those who didn't regularly check on the forums didn't get left out. This passed and I'm now proud to show the results from the first ingame party poll which had 24 responses (Not including myself as I decided not to vote in this as spokes person though may vote in future polls).
The first questions was whether or not now that we as a party have dropped out of the Top 5 we should seek to establish relations with another party and ask to run candidates under their banner. As you can see a majority feel we should try and do this and as such I will be trying to carry this out.
I felt it would be a nice idea to see what the opinions of our members are in regards to national issues as well and so we can now see that the general consensus within the party is that the Peace deal and Region swap with Ireland is a favourable one.
Finally I wanted to see which forms of communication were most well used within the party. With the response from this we can see that quite a few members don't use the forums that often or possibly at all and so by moving polls to ingame we have given more people a chance to get involved with the party decision making process.
There was one more question which was 'Would you like to see more 'InGame' polls?' the answer to which was unanimously yes.
I hope you've enjoyed this little insight into our party and our fellow members opinions, If you have any questions you'd like to have asked in the next poll please feel free to send me them and I'll include them in the next poll.
Thank you once again

good job!
Good to see the PCP following in the UKPP's footsteps.

"consensus is the only way to reach a fair decision" - yet still using a voting system... does not compute
Oh Johnny, I knew you'd be back to cause trouble sooner or later 😛
Better to have an idea of what people want than to just go with my own.
I'm just sayin', it's not a consensus decision-making process is all.

Voted, very cool. Transparency can only be a good thing for the Party and shows people that we truely are democratic.
So Johnny, what is a consensus decision-making process in your opinion.
Voted, even if I didn't see this poll.
@IfIWereARichMan It was a poll conducted by Mass Pm's to all PCP members ^_~
I am however considering doing a general opinion poll of around 1200 people in the eUK though may ask for permission to do it first as it could be seen as a bit cheeky if I went and did it without asking the CP first.
Problem is that there is no way to show how many votes you can provide the party you run your candidates under, and no way for members of each party to vote only for their own candidates.
If you could move 50 of your members into a party with 50n members, they could give you every nth candidate in their congress list. After congress you'd all move back to the PCP for PP/CP elections.
@Danie Yes there is a clear way. The election just a month ago where you can see the votes we pulled in.
In fact the changes actually make it easier. As to elect our Candidates under another parties banner we need to all vote for that Party thus rather than a party being able to direct votes to only their candidate and then not return the favour to the party helping out by letting them run, they're guaranteed to get votes from the other party now.
