My Apology
Chris Hartman
I apologize to my fellow congressmen, people who voted for me and my party. and have learned something from this.
1) Congress actually have a Code of Conduct which I was not aware of.
2) Never take heavy allergy meds b4 logging onto erep.
Also I ❤
Cerb, this mainly was to poke fun at him. But alas....
I am now reading the Code of Conduct, though i am not making excuses, because ignorance isn't a excuse I am just telling you all I have learned and am moving on. Sr. Congress members have already talked to me about this matter, among party leaders. Messaging Sr. Congressmen and my party leaders will not be a use of any.

You really don't have much to apologize for. What you did was not smart at all but you should not have been bullied into a public apology. It is your in-game right to do what you did. No one can tell you otherwise.
However, motions like that are simply not done unless you KNOW that you are part of a sufficient 2/3 majority to make it pass. If you were to cast around you would discover, first, that Cerb is a great guy and no-one in their right mind wants to impeach him and, secondly, that there is simply not any support in Congress for such a move.
Read all the Congress stuff about procedure and so on. Don't let anyone tell you that it has the force of law - that is tyranny by the majority, etc. but let me tell you that it is common sense and damn good advice, especially for new members of Congress.
Similarly with citizenships approvals - they are your in-game right - but, unless you have really good information to the contrary, check the IES boards and refer requests there first. Some very unfriendly types can sneak in if you are unwary.
Good luck in your political career. Remember to think, plan and discuss before acting.

[10 term Congressman and fiercely independent - remember your voters first of all.]
The only reason why this is a bigger deal than it needs be is because of in-game mechanics. Impeachment votes can only occur once every seven days, without this limiting game mechanic, it wouldn't be such a big deal.
Exactly - another reason why is is just not a smart move. However, Plato has given this power to members of Congress, so it is there to be used - just don't go playing with dynamite, that's all.
