The fantasy has been shattered

Back when I wrote this article I was roundly condemned as an Indonesia supporter. I am not an Indonesia supporter - I am an Australia supporter. I said at the time, before selected allies helped free our regions in a series of resistance wars:
We can keep on waiting, and waiting, and waiting for someone else to help us win the resistance wars but does anyone think it will end there? Does anyone think Indonesia will allow us to regain such financial strength as to maintain 12 MPPs? Does anyone think our current allies will permanently station sufficient troops in Australia to fend off any future attacks?
Victory in any immediate RWs will not guarantee anything. We need to improve our relationship with Indonesia and prove to them that we wish to coexist with them and smiply enjoy living in our country. Wars can be fought elsewhere, but our relationship with Indo needs to improve otherwise we will always be on the back foot.
How many thousands of gold were spent in the last resistance wars? How much stability has that delivered us? Now the fantasy is shattered and Indonesia attacks Australia again. It was a foolish act to make Indonesia our natural enemy, and it was doubly foolish to attack Indonesia first. The best way to encourage a state of peace is NOT to attack to neighbour you are seeking peace with.
We need to take a period of time to rebuild our country with stable borders. We may need to sacrifice some regions as part of this diplomatic strategy with Indonesia but without stable borders business and the population cannot grow. Noobs have no idea what is happening.
It is not an ideal situation - we all want our original regions but it is quite clear that Indonesia do not want that and that they have the means to take what they want. Our big brothers cannot save us from this fate.
Secondly, Leadership. Where the hell is it? Bowen Eley was ridiclous enough as leader and thankfully he is gone, although I hope his shock hospitalisation improves. Arfman has no credentials to be leader and was not involved in any of the most recent RW actions. In my opinion Larni Kaddlestorm must be permitted to continue her important work with full executive power. As such I have moved a motion in the Senate to appoint Larni as Prime Minister (while Wally Wilson continues to push the buttons).
Thirdly, the reformation of the ANP has been criticised. Well given that we cannot defend our own borders and we will shortly be wiped from the map again, it's like shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic. But when DocterDry offered to create the party again I couldn't stop him. It feels wrong to be a member of another party - like when a dog kisses a cat. Indos have proven that given their massively larger number of characters, they can PTO us if they like too.
I remain of the opinion that diplomacy with Indonesia to secure a stable border we can call our own, is the best option available. We need to rebuild the base of our community.

Just for the record, blame the Government, not our allies....
and now I will read the article
so you would rather we didnt attack Indonesia and wait 10 seconds for them to attack us because they had declared Natural enemy 10 seconds after us? if anything Natural enemy is the only thing that has kept us alive the 10% bonus to fighting Indonesia has likely proven invaluable
Good luck with that if we attacked them first.
THE GOVERNMENT HAS FOOLED YOU ALL!
TIS ALL A DREAM
...
We need new leadership, not the same old elites who do the same old stuff.
THERE IS a possibility for peace, help eIndonesia get another resource regions and your original regions could be returned. thats win-win for both sides
Hail Larni!
Hail Prosperity!
>THERE IS a possibility for peace, help eIndonesia get another resource regions and your original regions could be returned. thats win-win for both sides
implying we want to you have any of our states
and i'll blame admin for your situation. mintot gave you what eIndonesia does not have, you just appear to be the closest one. tough luck there, eIndonesians love easy target (not to mention it's on their backyard)
@tim_holtz: you're living in a dream mate. "we all want our original regions but it is quite clear that Indonesia do not want that and that they have the means to take what they want."
"We may need to sacrifice some regions as part of this diplomatic strategy"
Infin if you are talking about eAus regions to let them go for now, you are wrong. eIndo will just backstab and try to wipe eAus off again while we are talking diplomatically.
To use a saying I heard somewhere:
"It feels wrong - like when a dog kisses a cat"
@Tim_Holtz: those regions (WA, South Australia, Victoria) will be kept as part of bargain until eIndonesia conquers replacement regions. they will act as booster for economy (+10% weapon and 5% food), you already know strong economy means strong country. this will help eIndonesia to conquer replacement regions quickly which means you will get your regions back quicker
No, the indos only want WA,Vic, and SA for the resource bonus. They take all the other regions because of the auto attack rule. Silly admins
dasar TS nya bermuka dua ...
rasain ntar klo diratakan lagi, duduls
@buzz: welcome back 😃
Due to the voidness/invalidity of contracts and the fact that eIndo broke the last one we had when contracts DID exist, I would strongly oppose any such "truce" at this point.
They broke a contract when it suited them, so what would stop them from going back on their word if the contract/treaty isn't even valid to begin with?
They've shown that they have no honour, and as a result they won't honour any agreements.
@DA: current president came from new generation, not the old ones. things might be different, who knows?
vote for new generation leadership
yes don't consign the future to the mistakes of generations past.
the seasons come and go, but i will never change.
Infin is right, because when eIndonesia, had all our regions conquered and we were wiped , they were just aching to hand us back the regions they didn't want. Also when AND had the country PTO'ed and it was ruined the eIndonesian government (which didn't support the PTO) never took advantage of that and try to take all our regions. OH wait....
When eIndonesian shows a bit a of give and take, then maybe I will.
They are the ones in the driving seat, they are the ones with the best opportunity. If they wanted us to have peace then we would have it, quite obviously they do not.
We ask for war so they give us war.
australia is in wrong place if still in EDEN.
so, just deal with that
I don't remember us asking for PTO and as far as I'm concerned they asked for war. The war was inevitable, they have admitted they covert what we have and they mean to take it without diplomacy, that is war.
the seasons come and go, but i will never change.
lol, quote of this decade
FYI, we had plans to give up all regions other than WA, SA, and Vic through self-made RW . It just happens that the NE module came when that plan was about to be done . blame the admins, not us, for making Aus and Indo enemies for eLife
The Natural Enemy Act passed 30-1, infin. Were you the sole dissenting vote? Or was it DocterDry? It couldn't have been both of you. And for the record, your article give the impression that it was Bowen that proposed that Indo be our natural enemy, when, in fact, it was a senator.
@Sunardi: It was the old generation that originally gave us back our regions and it was the more "recent" generations that don't want us to have any.
I should know, since I was around during the FIRST round of negotiations to get eAus back once V1 was rolled out.
I was not a senator but I would have voted no.
ah, ok infin, my mistake.
Trusting eIndo? The same eIndo that (allegedly) uses multis and other cheats?
At least if they waste their efforts conquering and reconquering eOz then they can be attacked and weakened elsewhere..
