Congrats for the article 🙂
It is sad 🙁
presupun ca nu ai avut in contractul de munca trecuta o clauza de confidentialitate...o alta greseala 😃
I still believe that v2 has a lot of potential to become a magnificent game (that's why I'm still here, 4-clicking), but I guess the "decision factors" have no interest or enough brains to just do that!
>phoenix-style.
Proof of admin bias.
On a more serious note, as an outsider lookin in its become more and more obvious that this game is shit because of the "higher ranking" erep staff, and that the lower ranking you are, the more you care about the game itself.
Oh. I just realized. My last article ties very well into your last paragraph.
http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/all-we-need1-1502737/1/20
Deci ai stiut ca jocul e prost, totusi ai scris numai chestii frumoase despre el. Cum se cheama asta exact?
"nu ai avut in contractul de munca trecuta o clauza de confidentialitate"
Am stiut despre continutul a 3-4 insidere inainte sa apara. Si nu cunosc pe nimeni din staff in RL, si joc jocul de partea opusa (adica nimeni nu e prost sa imi zica chestiile importante). E destul de clar ca nu au asa ceva, nu?
@low rider: cam mic levelu` tau ? /
@dr-k: daca as vrea sa dau in ei, as putea sa scriu romane cu cifre si fapte..din contra, incerc contrariul
@staticTM: I believed this too. Not anymore. If this is the net result of two years of work, oh well..they need to come up with another game
@Chocolate McSkittles: indeed "all we needed was sand"..great article
@clawy: din cate am auzit, esti ceea ce se numeste a fi troller, dar hai sa incerc o data, doar o data, sa comunic..daca vad ca nu am cu cine, o sa ignor..deci "[..]I really believed in Rising, and by writing articles[//]
Am scris chestii frumoase, crezand in ele, asa cum le percepeam eu.
http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/goodbye-erepublik--1082065/1/20
Now , the last 5-6 Insiders all together don't have 10.000 votes. Very
Sad
THIS GAME SUCKS.
but the article is awesome.
Let me remind you of something .
http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/against-the-stream-i-support-the-new-version-1448199/1/20
When people were screaming "v2 sucks, bring v1 back!" you ignored them and expected them to get use to play. But now, active population number is getting lower day by day.Everyone is leaving, noone registers.
Even me as an addicted v1 player, dont care about anymore.(Already forgot to train about 2 days, but I dont care😁
Soon, there will be noone to play, scream, complain.
It is really sad to see eR is dieing.
funny how...more than a year ago , when i registered , there were 170k citizens. In one month will reach that number. In one and a half year ... the same number of citizens.
@BattalGazi: By the day when v2 was launched i had already left the team. So it was not "me" who did not listen 🙂 Anyway, i was just as V1-addicted as you, and i feel the same sadness right now.
Thank you for your article.
Battal Gazi Correct Say...
good article
'This really should be a lesson. ' A lesson for who? If I may ask. Rhetorical question, of course : )
Thanks for the article. Really sheds some light on the whole situation. Higher ups need to learn to take feedback and realize they aren't always right. Not just the eRepublik team (although it's who I am talking to in this case) but throughout the world that happens all of the time. Higher ups get too blinded and think they are all powerful and they can never do anything wrong, that when someone lower than them says that an idea won't work or is not good, or even suggests a great idea to them, they just don't listen. It's quite sad.
R.I.P. eRepublik. I'll miss you.
What next? We are just going to leave this game to die? I kind of like the new military module just because you don't have to be a veteran***** to do something on a battlefield. For example in V1 my damage was absolutely insignificant , in V2 i'm in the top 20 Romanian(with citizenship) fighters by damage. And i did that without hundreds of gold , i think i spent under 20-30g fighting(including weapons , WP , food).
That is one of the few reasons i like Rising.
Very nice article, finally we shall stop moaning and insulting admins (y'know, shouting admin s*ks and so...) because here we have confession - no matter how hard they try, how much they want to change things and make world better, there are some guys with rights who make their own mind. Moonlightshadow, maybe you should send this article (+discussion) to game owners who really might care and listen to their ex-employee and ex-customer.
Read this on eUS forums, great read, glad to hear that not everyone on the team is a(n) -insert any insulting noun here-
Great article and thanks for sharing it. Maybe one day this idea about Rising (or V2) will be the one that everybody wanted, but though truth is that no one will be here to see and play it then.
Lack of communication killed the game.
Return Eastern Siberia and Mongolia to Serbia, its not our fault you made buggy game
bring v1 back!;}
I was forgot why i am subbed to this NP. Thanks for remember me : 3. Voted ofc.
Great article, really sad... I'll tell you something. I created a web-site during v1, www.erepublik-srbija.com. It was used to bring more people from Serbia to play it. I closed it... Because people will not stand this. I killed it because this game, in this form, where no one listens to you, deserves to die. I'm relatively young - 9.5 months old, but I spent every day in those past months playing erepublik and chating with friends. Articles today are pure spam for what they used to be. When I see top articles today it makes me sick. All the good guys are leaving or left, now there are "average" players who think they know it all. Even chatrooms are empty, and by empty I mean there are few of the guys with whom I started playing already gone. The guy who invited me 10 months ago, left when v2 started, and he was a passionate player. If they don't want to listen, well, there will be no one to listen to very soon...
reported for not respecting the 7th erep law.
Great article, voted/subbed.
You should be listened by the owners of this game if they don't want to see their game dying definitively.
I really appreciate this honest article, unfortunately there isn't too much to improve. A change like this one, once is done, it makes you happy or bankrupt. The business like business, I won't drop a tear for that, but all the people behind and all the passion doesn't worth the result.
Myself I was trying to point out most of the bad things that brought us here.
Life sucks!
Great article 🙁 Hate to see this game going downhill.
I used to strive to log on daily and do my training/working...now I rarely work and train and if I do it's because i'm bored. I love this game for the community, and as the community slowly leaves my love for the game does too.
It's unfortunate to see yet another great game, and community slowly die out because of developer/admin neglence.
My country has as many voters as the first couple of months; about 20% of what we had. Good article.
They should add an eVietnam and all of the middle eastern and southeast asian countries!!!
It's a sad story 😐
Interesting article, honor to you.
v2=exctintion virus
despre ce-i vb aici?
Sad but true ... Good article MLS.
voted and subbed.
I hope the bugs will be fixed somewhere in the future....
da taci lun-o.... ca si tu le-nfloresti grav.... dupa cum bine ai zis.... 😁)).... au si la strungaru asta.... Lack of communication killed the game. .... dute ba... mie doar imi place melodia asta,... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5_faccUI68 ....
good Article
We Need To Recruit New Players If This Game Is Going To Survive.... Go to naruto forums go to online browser sites and tell people about it and how EDEN is raping ass and about how PHOENIX needs new citizens For There Honor or somthing WE NEED NEW PEOPLE!
i'm glad i read this article before ur ex-colleagues delete it 🙂
...and now it's too late. We are e-citizens, we are your CUSTOMERS, we are eRepublik. Not you. Without us, it's just a site that hopes to become a game. Even if you were not the decision maker, you still have responsibilities for what we came into. It's too late to turn back time, it's too late to listen to us now. The game lost that sparklin thing it had. It's gone.
Too sad, but true.
I apologise for giving you a hard time with the new forums. It's simply an example of poor management and wasn't your fault. Sorry.
Thanx for sharing.
...great article...i don't think that v2 is that bad, but it is no more a 15 minutes game...many ppl stopped playing becouse of that...
...who has time to be in a battle for few hours? in v1 you could be a tank and do your duty in 20 minutes...and to be a semi-clicker in v2 is pointless...military progress is irellevant, and work, train, study and residantial is so boring...battle module killed eComunity...
