Immigration - The eAus Dirty Word?

Hello again!
It has been awhile since my last article but thought i would share some thoughts regarding the dirty word of our eRep country, 'Immigration'.
Why are we SOOO afraid of opening our countries door to willing immigrants who are seeking a better eLife in this wonderful country?
I hear many yelling PTO, PTO!!!!
Are we that silly to not realise that if a big country wanted to PTO us as a nation the could simply have several hundres players create one multi each and have those multi's born in eAustralia? one month later and there is trouble a brewing.
I mean, really it wouldnt be that difficult.
We are in DESPERATE need of immigration, we DO NOT have enough workers to fill jobs, we do not have enough fighters to fight if trouble should reach our shores.
I say we need a serious re-think of the miniscule amount of immigrants we let in each month.
we could do with an extra 200 active players as of yesterday IMO.
What would it look like if everyone of our active players in eAustralia seriously sought after recruiting another player? Could that elusive baby boom take place?
Are people scared of a loss of power and presence with more active players in our eCoutry?
I guess even in a virtual world we are not free from the RL judgement of 'foreigners'.
I think this could be our strength as a country, an eCountry that looks after the little bloke, an ecountry that wants to give everyone a fair go no matter where they are born.
Hard work, commitment and longevity, THAT is what we need in eAus.
Anyway, i have some other ideas on how this could work and how we can minimise PTO in the process, but that is for another time.
Thanks for reading and i leave you with a few questions:
1. Would our companies value skilled, hard working people in our country?
2. Would our players appreciate some new faces around?
3. Would our army like more kickass fighters to help deal some damage both home and abroad?
4. Would our government like more gold in the coffers from taxes?
Thanks for reading, i look forward to people views.
Peace
The Ooze

eImmigration is old news, the problem has been fixed.
Mate i don't know were you have got this information from but its wrong. First off if you take the time to actually look at the request list it is on one page. The people on this page are either on low wellness i will not let them in unless they take the effort to fix there wellness. And the others are from Enemy country's such as Indonesian and Brazil who are under investigation.
wow, easy up tiger 🙂
I am not simply talking about the citizen request list. I have looked at the list and read the forums and all the arguments for and against too.
I am talking about advertising internationally and actively seeking people to come to eAus. I get tired of hearing the PTO carry on. I dont know why your getting so fired up, dont be such a troll who wants to sprout angry agressive words online. Each to their own opinion i guess.
Instead of personally attacking me and where i 'come from', why don't you give some solutions to the problems we face in eAUS?
geez lighten up.
That comment was deleted as i was a little angry with this kind of crap taking over our media. There is how ever a well thought out plan being made to attracted or entice people to move to eAustralia. It is still in the works and shall be released next term.
No problem Lews,
Like i said, there is a real need to attract people to eAustralia.
And i am glad that theres is a plan to encourage this, i dont want the plan to be thrown aside for fear of PTO and other scare tactics.
Next time chill for a sec, we are on the same team in the end.
Peace
And just a FYI: You don't need to be a eAussie Citizen to work at a company or fight in our wars, you only need it to be a member of a party and vote in Congress/CP/PP Elections.
Unfortunately, there is a limited amount of citizenship passes that we can issue monthly. Game mechanics prevent us from issuing mass citizenship.
for sure, but we do need workers and fighters...exploring and attempting to implement all options is really essential.
🙂
Binda - we have *wasted* large numbers of of our limited supply of citizenship passes. This has to stop.
Derek - residents without citizenship lose eps, the chance to infulence ovt, the chance to serve politically. Not cool.
Lews - boht of the 'eindonesians' on the page are sandgropers who got caught behind enemy lines, while low wellness has been a problem ever since losng the eUSA MPP.
