[I&W] MOST IMPORTANT VOTE!!!

Our President ThomasRed just started a vote in congress that is the most important vote we will ever have. The subject is if we agree with the PEACE charter or not. In reality the question is on if we are in PEACE or OUT OF PEACE. Voting no will result in us being alone with friends that have no obligation to help us and we can’t draw on their support when attacked.
Clearly this important subject hasn’t been discussed enough because as we speak a big discussion is taking place on our IRC channel with Congress Members that have a lot of questions and points. People are unaware that voting NO means leaving PEACE.
We have to remember who we are!!! We aren’t a nation with 15.000 citizens like Russia, Serbia or Hungary, we have 1.000 and our population is decreasing!!! We cannot survive alone. Before the Union the Netherlands always survived because we were part of PEACE and our allies always helped us in time of need. Belgium wasn’t associated with anyone at the time and history tell us what the consequence was. They were PTO by the Spanish.
Besides our own protection voting no will also mean that we abandon our friends. Because we protect them too while we are in PEACE.
CONGRESS MEMBERS IT IS YOUR DUTY TO MAKE SURE THIS DOESN’T HAPPEN TO US!!!
VOTING NO MEANS THAT WE ARE OUT OF PEACE!!!
That is why Iron & Wine will vote YES and we ask all the other parties to do the same.

We normally discuss before we vote, so why not now?

EDEN Propaganda!
I'd say leave [from my view, not from my EDEN view] PEACE is atm all kind of small country's, without reallly great communication. If you leave, you will still be able to have MPP's with hungary/serbia/russia and other, so it means they will still help you. And maybe after this, you can join a new alliance [maybe new one will be created with better everything].
sorry Voted NO,
at this moment
PEACE lacks communication, lacks cooperation and almost all of our allies left or will leave, thats why my vote is NO, lets not throw away our friendship!!
It doesn't really lacks communication, there is just too much opposing propaganda. The communication between the countries that want to cooperatie is still active. And it is trowing away friendship when you just follow the ones that think they are big enough themselves and want to go offensive (some).
Voting NO to the charter doesn't mean you're out of PEACE, only that you disagree with it.
I disagree with a lot of stuff in the new charter, for example.
i think the UNL gov should make a statement if they support the new charter or not.
I voted no because leaving Peace does not mean we are alone, but will open doors to other and probably better possibilities.
I ask every congressmember to trust us in this decision. I know it's a hard decision but we can't wait any longer to decide.
Why burn our bridges behind us? I say we stay in PEACE until a better solution presents itself then we can always leave. But leaving and depending on ourselves is dangerous.
"Why burn our bridges behind us? I say we stay in PEACE until a better solution presents itself then we can always leave. But leaving and depending on ourselves is dangerous."
+1
Leaving PEACE = suïcide
I have faith in a new and better begin. So I'm just asking one thing: trust us
Staying in PEACE is suicide, who is still in PEACE able to defend us Mitch and reflex?
Like Olv said trust the government, it will be fine!
what does peace have to offer you?
just a bunch of small countries left, all together not as strong as the USA alone...
but of course, if you leave peace you are even weaker...
UNL just should stay friends with the big e😜eace countries..
If you guys are leaving PEACE I'm outta here.
"Voting NO to the charter doesn't mean you're out of PEACE, only that you disagree with it."
^ That should be the interpretation of such a vote. If this ends up getting voted NO, send it back to PEACE with the request to make a better one. You can always decide to stay or go after that.
PEACE isnt dead. The dead pieces have left the alliance. Now the other countrys can focus on reactivate the communication and cooroporation.
This can be done by new a new charter, but i think the new charter where we vote for now isnt good for our country.
We need to discuss this charten with the other countrys. But leaving peace is not a option.
If we are out of peace, how can we create war games?
How can we have much support in wars? (yes, i know there are relations, but a alliance offers more damage, then relationships)
artemivanov which are those???
@Artemlvanov: I must say I completely disagree with you. PEACE is dead. The alliance is finished. This doesn't mean we can't create war games with other nations and be friendly with the nations that were in PEACE. This simply means that we will have to forge new alliances.
Let's finally move on.
@ArtemIvanov: Those dead pieces that left PEACE are nations that helped us a lot in the last RW in Brussels and Wallonia. It are nations who believe PEACE is dead, but they are very active nations.
I do think that when this new charter is against our interest we must vote against it. If the consequence is that we would leave PEACE by doing that, so be it. I cannot agree with a charter that is against our nations interest.
In the last RW in our nation it was not PEACE that helped us, it were the ones we had good relations with. If we would not be part of PEACE, we would not have lost two regions. Only attacking a PEACE nation was the goal of the Group. No resources.
War games we can arrange outside PEACE too.
Where will this bring us? We will see. As long as we have good contacts with our friends and enemies I do not think we will be attacked.
Voting No on the charter doesn't mean you are out instantly, but just voting No without a comment what is wrong is. If you commment what is wrong exactly it can be adjusted, since the representatives voted for parts of it before and now it is the citizens turn.
I find most of the views on fellow nations disturbing.
1) Saying bad things about the countries that left peace.
2) Saying the countries that remain in peace are not big enough to defend us so they are not important.
What the fk guys, what the fk.
