Sol and eAussie in chaos, resolution to expel proposed
Vikta
On the back of the successful Resistance War in Western Australia that shocked the eWorld and changed the game dynamics significantly, Sol chairman Hekter has just proposed the following proposal:
Proposal: Revoke Australia's member status in Sol for the aggression shown in the Western Australia Resistance War, violating the ideas of stabilization in the region by providing a springboard into prolonged conflict, as well as aggressively taking back a territory without negotiation, and not to mention lying about it--much less informing anyone of what was going on.
Personally I am AGAINST this proposal and I urge the eMalaysian reps to vote NO to this proposal.

I also disagree, and ask to vote for NO.
If Sol allows one of its member to be part of Eden/Broliance - that's the end of the neutrality as Sol knows it.
EDEN and eUSA forced it on us. The body of eAustralia and its government had nothing to do with it.
OMG...... I wanna stay neutrality.
The issue is not that Australia might be joining EDEN, it's that they lied to Sol... I'm trying to pick out the details on the Sol chat as I'm typing this. I need more information before I make an official stand on this.
@seanlam
We are staying neutral; our neutrality will not be threatened by these actions in any way whatsoever.
@CDV
Sol already has Pakistan and the Philippines in its ranks, both members of PEACE. Japan was simultaneously members of PEACE and Sol as well before they dropped out due to the TNoSK situation. If this ends Sol's neutrality, by that standard their neutrality was gone upon formation.
AFAIK Aus did not solicit the help of EDEN, or lie to Sol at all. IMO we should standby one of our biggest allies Australia.
Okay I talked to Hekter the Sol chairman some more, and he said that the lie to Sol was that they were not informed that Patti passively let the EDEN forces do what they wished. In my opinion Sol's stability was not threatened to an extent that requires them to be expelled. I will be voting no on expulsion.
Question:
Are we obliged to help eAustralia in the event eAustralia decides to keep WA, sign the MPP with eUSA and Eden, and eIndo attack?
No, the option to not send troops over is always valid.
really? i thought we have to help our Sol allies...mm..i am totally confused about Sol alliance. Hahaha. It is mostly just war games or it is a military alliance?
Sol is a military alliance, but that is with the understanding that each member has different circumstances in foreign affairs and their own decisions and rationale for supporting Sol in military affairs.

VOTE NO!
my statement: Dear Sol,
as you all know WA was liberated today, and yes there were orders from myself to help the liberation. A vote has started to expel Australia from Sol for it, something which upsets me deeply, as part of the reason to go for WA was looking towards the future of Sol. You see, Indonesia was planning a war on Malaysia in the next month or so, I knew it and Hekter knew it. Indonesia needed to start a baby boom, as its aging population was starting to leave. War would do just that. A full conquest was on the cards and quite frankly, if we let it happen we would be powerless to stop it. Once the Malaysian war what next? Obviously other Sol members would have fought to the death for Malaysia, and thus made a new enemy: Indonesia. The only way they could survive was outside help, and that was in the form of EDEN. I know I should have informed Sol of our proposed actions, but the timeframe was so small and plus a little bit of negligence on my part, but I am truly sorry. Australia would very much like to continue its Sol membership as we want to protect the nations who were in our position not too long ago. Sol needs Australia, and Australia needs Sol.
Thanks,
patti11
Prime Minister of Australia
@patti11 You sir are AWESOME keep fighting for justice bro
seriosly Its the same thing that happened with india EDEN is simply taking away regions from PEACE and giveing them back to their original countries. Don't be fgts
they lied to us, they should no longer be permitted in our alliance.
This isn't the Australians' fault. They shouldn't be dropped from Sol because of something they had no control over. The Dropbears and ACUK were ordered to fight for the Defenders. But some disobeyed orders to fight for their personal beliefs.
The bulk of the damage, including last minute heavy tanking, came from the eUSA and EDEN troops. This came as a complete surprise to me, and I try to keep good tabs on what my old American friends are up to. At last talks between eAustralia and EDEN, EDEN was making no promises to the Aussies. EDEN was saying things like "Australia isn't in a strategic position to be of any help to us." and "We have more important things to do than help you." But the unexpected lack of Hungarian resistance in Alaska gave EDEN the opportunity to fight somewhere else. They liberated Western Australia on a whim! If anyone has lied here, it was EDEN lieing to Australia.
VJ - you bought into the propanganda stuff coming out from eUSA media? Oh, Alaska was so easy - what do we do - well, let's mobilise a bunch of tanks and moving tickets for them - and liberate WA! Why WA? well, the wall seemed to be quite low, compared to Heilongjiang. Why not?
I believe eAus has been duly informed of the imminent RW as well as the coordinated attack. 🙂 Let's not kick ourselves. the MPPs, the approval (without much argument) in all nations involved ..that's lightning speed! the 'victim' here - eI - is still struggling to find the proper response.
Uh, CDV, Hungary didn't fight at all in Alaska, they defended Heilongjiang to protect their high-iron region. The wall was 600k under with over an hour to go, and it stayed that way. And the majority of that damage was done from two-clickers.

They don't lie. The EMC then assessed the situation at hand and saw that the wall in WA was only at 200k, within VERY easy tanking range. The majority of the Soldiers all had moving tickets anyways to return home, so instead of fighting in Alaska, they co-ordinated to move to Indonesia and fight the RW in WA.
You underestimate the power of co-ordination and mobility of EDEN's armed forces. They've come a long way, the war in North America taught them all a thing or two about working together and having amazing co-ordination.
You know, I'm not quite sure. I can't see much because of the daily mass unikums, but I remember some Australian fellows fighting for Malaysia in the late Alfagrem's RWs. Voting yes might make sense, but it somehow doesn't sound right to me. And neutrality only holds until those around you consent.
Blessings!
@Video Jack - the official statement from the government to the military was to not fight at all. Some disobeyed anyway and chose to fight in the red because they want to see Australia whole again after 18 months. However, majority of that attack came from eUS forces, including that last minute tanking that see the wall coming down from No man's land to underground within seconds!
Now eAus being the position it is in (half-expecting eIndo to want WA back), feels that it has no choice but to sign MPPs with those countries because it is vulnerable.
Believe me, many eAussies are not happy with it. Sure they're happy to see WA finally free from eIndo, but not with the means that they've got it back. Many are also angry that EDEN forced this decision upon them.
@Balkan beast - from word I have heard, only Patti11, the PM made the decision to allow EDEN to continue with the RW, nobody else was consulted, and the government would not have agreed. As of the 23rd hour in the battle, many still believed that eIndo was able to hold back and the status quo would remain. It turns out that official press in the eIndo military has instructed tanks to hold back for other RWs that will happen in other eIndo occupied regions. We have seen this 5 RWs in China.
You're going to expel an ally because it took back one of its original regions? Wow, that's really loyal of you. Expelling eAustralia would force eAustralia to end its neutrality and join Eden/Brolliance.
Expelling eAustralia isn't an act of neutrality, it's an act of appeasement to PEACE GC. It's an act that shows your favor towards PEACE GC.
Expelling eAustralia would be a monumentally stupid idea.
When the fuck did EDEN lie?
And we offered you MPPs right after, so don't get into a hissythat we won't protect you.
Well what have I got to go on but the Media? I'm used to having an inside scoop on confidential talks between Australians and the rest of the world. And in the last election, my access got cut off! I'm in the dark, and I hate being in the dark! It pisses me off that momumental things happen right after I can't read about what's really going on.
