sir_c0nstant's Policies

Day 1,140, 03:00 Published in Australia Australia by Sir_c0nstant

Hello citizens of eAustralia,

It's time for policies, yay, got to say things now that people will dissect, agree and disagree with.
I hope there is something for all of you here, but be nice as I have tried to make it short for you..

Ok,
lets start with health and the community.

We need to foster better relations within our country and one way the gov can assist in this is to encourage party's to pick up the looking after of people who fall on hard times. I believe that closer community ties can be built if friends and party members reach out to new citizens and bring them into a family orientated atmosphere.
The government will still make first contact with new citizens plus also will follow this up to give basic survival information, but, the onus will be moved onto party's to foster a support network. This will help establish better formed partys and provide structure to the political system, should be a win / win.
You will also find that when new citizens go through bootcamp they will still be educated to look after their health.

Economics – money and business

Establish and grow our home markets, encourage local GM's to produce what the eAus military needs (food and weaps) at competitive prices.

All trading options are on the table atm, our embargos are all nearly lifted, and as such we have a clean slate to import the raws we need here, and will also enable us to export any surplus stock we have.
This would encourage more Money Market activity and as such should strengthen our AUD and make our good more atractive on the open international market.
I would be encouraging my finance ministers to actively engage in the Monetry Market both here and abroad to create another small line of profit for the gov.

Military matters

Push forward with the reforms started by callumh123 and Majester to provide a struture that is separate from gov interference(except budget). It will provide a clean set up with people who know what they are doing in postitions of responsibility.

Alliances

We have to keep an open mind here and make sure we place eAustralia in the minds of all alliances that come up. It now gives us an opportunity to talk to other countries about the opportunites our timezone can give and also work with other small countries in the same situation as us about working together.

At the moment all options are on the table, some will seem far fetched and horrible to think about, but I promise that any major moves will of had a full public debate.

Until notified otherwise we are still in EDEN and in the Broalliance.

As you have seen from my cabinet, I have put together a team that has the experience in all the areas that I wish we need to advance on.

Regards
