A few reasons to like eRepublic

Day 1,434, 17:40 Published in Slovakia Slovakia by Luxia Borgia

Beware: this is purely a subjective article, written from my point of view. But you can vote, subscribe, shout, and enjoy : )

So guys, we all know about some dangers of eRepublik addicton . The friends and community are pretty powerful addictive thing - for some reason I met lots and lots of awesome people here, very kind, helpful, intelligent and witty. The media modul is an another thing I love much, as the eCzechoslovak guys already know for sure, for they must suffer my blah-blah-blah almost everyday. I could write more. But I do not want this article to be too boring : ))

Here is an another thing that fascinates me about eRepublik - eRepublik has its own history, „golden ages“, urban legends, it does exists, and it does not exists. Its just a game, for sure, but its a game about real people, living in this alternative world. Its a place, where the history simply went differently from some point. Maybe its just my personal feeling, but I think its pretty cool to watch an alternative story of a world that never was.

And now, here is the reason why eRepublik has the power to change reality: it can change, how you see the other people from other countries. People you would never met otherwise. Amazing people. I am ashamed to admit it that there are countries I never visited, which I saw only through the silly optic of 2 or 3 things I coincidentally read in the RL newspapers. Thats a pretty stupid thing to do, but we all do this from time to time. So its a good thing we can change our point of view, guys.

ERepublik changed that for me. I am not talking here that much about countries who are RL neighbours of my country, like Poland or Hungary (not to mention Czech Republic). I knew, visited and liked these countries before. I talk here about countries I had not the chance to know more before, countries with their own rich history, great fights in the past, great writers of the past. In the RL I was just too busy to be interested. Now I know more about your countries, guys. Because I met you and you changed my optic how I see your country. Because I see it through your eyes, my dear friends.

And not to make this article too long (oh no, it already is long like a tapeworm... ) , here is a few words I would love to say:

1. I love people from Czech republic. You guys rock! We share the same country – eCzechoslovakia - in eRepublic. I do not understand why our countries ever parted in the RL.
