[MoF] 2365 - eRepublik Update
NBB-BNB
Greetings eBelgium,
As you might have noticed, a new update has occurred today:
In preparation for the new countries, some changes to Country Treasuries and Donation laws will be made.
- Gold will be removed as an option from the Donate law in Country Administration page
- The Donation laws will have a direct link to the target organization. It will appear clickable on the Organization name. This is only a visual change, as before you were forced to search the organization with the name.
Players are now able to donate Gold (along with the familiar Currency and Energy) on the country’s Economy page.
- Citizen has to be level 25 or higher to be able to donate to Country Treasury
- Minimum Gold donation = 1 Gold
- Minimum Currency donation = 20 Currency
- Minimum Food donation = 5 Food items
Some people might wonder if this could have any impact on eBelgium. In the past we have secured all our gold through both national organizations and Bank Managers and there is therefore nothing left in the in game treasury. On top of that, there is no gold that should enter directly into the treasury account (excepted due to direct donations) and the gold donation laws have not been used for age either.
This update will therefore have no impact at all on the country.
Kind regards,
The Ministry of Finance Team

Awesome \o/
"there is no gold that should enter directly into the treasury account (excepted due to direct donations)"
=> Where do the taxes go ?
Is there gold income from taxes?
Hmmmm... ok. You're right. So there's still money (BEF) in the treasury account, just not gold.
Money isn't affected by the update I think, I guess that will remain available on the donation page.
If there's money I don't know, haven't you heard yet, some elite players ran away with all the money and gold ;-p
Actually I have no clue about these mechanism, probably as 60% of the players. Money would really be stolen that most of the players wouldn't even realize it.
I was just asking to faint some interest.
But I don't say it's not an important matter.
