this is the reason why companies cant offer good salaries to theirs employees...
what about instead having low salaries and products with low prices you will have products with normal prices and normal salaries?

sorry Mokenld, but ppl shouldn't work in land companies in eIsrael...
since there is only medium grain, land workers in eIsrael will never get good salaries.
in the corrent situation the only ppl that get profit from the shameful grain industry in eIsrael are the companies owners.
if you really want to work in land work, i suggest that you move to another country. land working, in most of the eCountries earn the highest salaries in the job markets. there is no reason to waist your time in eIsrael.
if you want to help the country and have a land work you should move to another country and send as much money as you want to the eIsrael bank. that will be more help than the current situation.

more citizens is a good thing for a country since they pay taxes and buy in the local market. but land working is only good if country got high regions. since eIsrael got none, the productivity is too low for having a positive effect.
the salaries for the land workers cant be high. they wont get high salary which means they will pay lower taxes and wont be able to buy much in the market unless they got another way for earning money.
it will be for the best if the country will demand all grain companies in eIsrael to close all the lvl 0 offers so that new citizens wont be able to start working on this kind of skill

The low wages are absolutely KILLING our markets. No player in the world spends .8 gold on moving tickets to get cheaper food. You are also killing Q1 food because it really cant go much cheaper, yet Q2 food is only 30 cents more.

You damage the markets and the economy every single day you are in operation and selling at these prices... Workers get hurt by low wages, the government gets hurt because we make next to nothing from the taxes...everyone loses except the GM of the company.

Polgara, I want to have the best prices in the eWorld such as all the world will come to israel and buy our stuff.
BuzzyTheCat, I'm pretty sure that Q1 guys could sell much cheaper the food if they want! I can resist with Q2 at that price, and also there is another competitor that could sell even cheaper than me.
In the future there will be also cheaper tickets for Israel.
The taxes will be much many than the taxes will be collected only from the people of Israel. I'm pretty sure that we as a country will produce more than needed.
All of the companies from Israel should sell at low prices, and everything will be much better for Israel.

And BuzzyTheCat, you as the 'official' president, with all the keys in your pocket could do something to make me sell at higher price. You should increase the value of the NIS to 0.04, and everything will be as you wish!!!

Polgara, please you really don't understand what is the business in Israel. Because you are living in Indonesia right now 😉.
I offered you the space to develop business in Israel. We should call for investors in Israel. If the investors will see that we have low salaries, low prices, I'm pretty sure that Israel will become an attractive location for their businesses.

israel is a little community and not everyone is active or of course willing to work for such salaries.

the NIS is broken, the local market is small, import taxes are high in most of the countries- ppl will not investigate in eIsrael.

cheap salaries and products are wrong. the raw materials will always have the same prices which means that your play is doing nothing but *#&$ing the workers.
the government is getting low taxes from it and citizens cant offer to buy products.
and all these "good" ppl with high skills that are working for 1 NIS for lowering the price of the products should understand that they are destroying all the monetary system and not allowing normal wages in the market since other companies will lower wages so that they will be able to sell products.

i m just sorry that i didnt start talking before too many ppl got this wrong idea of "low salaries=good economy"

This is the problem though. The companies who have massive stock, created that stock at a much much higher price point than now. Sure they could sell food for .50 NIS...and they would also lose nearly their entire investment.

The other problem is the economy. Israel doesn't have the investment interest to build more high quality companies. The reason we need high quality companies is because as things stand right now, we have skill 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 players working in Q1 and Q2 companies... meaning we end up with huge stockpiles of items, except because we have such a low population, those stockpiles don't sell.

Then there is the problem with economy strength. The one thing that the whole RL American bail-out plan got right is that when people have money, they spend it. Our problem now is that no one has money. All our jobs are very very low paying.

I know how to fix it but a lot of people wouldn't like it. 3 NIS minimum wage and then just use the national training company to train workers until they hit skill 2. Then everyone has money, everyone can buy cheap food and have some money left over to save.

The other problem with dropping the NIS value to .03 or .04 is that it has no effect in the grand scheme of things. I could force NIS value to a 1 to 1 ratio to gold... but that only means something if we are importing/exporting. Food would still be, say .75 NIS in Israel. So yea, technically, workers would make 10 gold a day working...they would also be paying 5 gold for a single piece of food. That is also ignoring the fact that high currency value really hurts your export chances. Look at Canada. We could make tons of money selling on the Canadian market because they have high currency value. Now look at Portugal. You have to be insane to export tons of product to Portugal because their money is about as valuable as toilet paper.

Now with all that said, I don't really care HOW low you sell your products. My only issue is the fact you don't pay your workers. Basically, every worker you have in all of your companies is completely and totally useless in the big picture of Israel.

Say we have 600 citizens, 300 of them are dead or dieing. We now have 300 citizens, 50 of those citizens are making 1 NIS a day, combined with income tax, that means they make .9 NIS a day. They buy a single piece of Q1 food for .89 NIS a day... they are now playing the game for a grand total of .01 NIS a day.

Not only does that mean they cant buy other products like gifts or weapons, it also means new players are going to get tired of the game really quickly and most likely quit. For the older players, they will simply move out of the country.

You HAVE to pay your workers well, otherwise they might as well be unemployed.
