Time for a new approach?
Franz Kafka
Ok - I have officially had enough of this perpetual occupation.
NONE of our neighbours seem to have any interest in really seeing us be a viable country. Under extended occupation, all the countries in our region will die. No citizens can maintain their nationality for too long with unproductive businesses and no political rights - eventually they will move to other countries.
eEgypt - Under almost total occupation
eIsrael - Under total occupation
eSaudi - Under almost total occupation
eGreece - Largely under occupation
eTurkey, eCyprus, and eFYR Macedonia are on top right now - but we know that won't always be the case. So can't we break this cycle of revenge and destruction and take our wars to countries outside of our region?
Taken in the long view it is hard to see how this state of perpetual war in our lands helps ANY of our countries?
My clear understanding from this situation is that overall all the large alliances present a threat to our region.
Getting involved in fights in our region just depletes our own resources, destroys productivity, starves our populations, and eventually citizens will leave the country or the game entirely.
I propose we strike a deal between all of us. Agree an allocation of territories in our region and stick to it. Then we can pursue our alliance interests and territory aquisition desires outside of our region
Q&A
Q: Why on earth would eTurkey and eCyprus give up any of the territories that they currently posess?
A: Multiple RWs are a constant drain on resources, and require heaving military planning to monitor. Under this deal I can see eEgypt and eSaudi Arabia giving up some regions. Furthermore with several fronts at peace, eCyprus and eTurkey could focus on building vast Asian empires, far greater than what they can get from our region's limited selection of resources.
Q: But there is too much animosity between countries, they will never get on.
A: Self interest should trumph emotion. Besides, no matter how much eGreece and eFYR Macedonia fight, the in-game name of the country will never be changed - so what's the fighting supposed to achieve? eGreece and eTurkey animosity is based on an RL history that we really should get over in the eWorld.
Q: Why bother trying to protect failed countries like eSaudi Arabia and eEgypt.
A: eEgypt has a chance, maybe even eSaudi. But keeping these countries weak and unproductive makes it very diffficult to keep new citizens engaged and experienced ones leave for more productive nationalities.
Q: Have you thought about a greater regional unity? It worked for Czechoslovakia?
A: Too much rl sentiment for that to work. But yes - in theory this is another way to get people engaged. Only problem is that new citizens will still be born with their nationalities and may give up and leave before they realise they should change this - new citizen messages for erased countries could help with this.

/o/ a good one mate! but only writing about it wont entice officials to do it... its talk you have to do with them... maybe you should candidate for president of eEgypt? 🙂
Tried that one already! 🙂 'til that elsuive day, I'm just gonna have to keep on talking...
Very good points.
I have been an e-entrepreneur since I started in 2008.
However I see no point in migrating my Q5 weapons plant to Egypt if territories are continually lost.
You should run for CP and use this pragmatic approach.
Franz 4 CP
lol
Saudi and eygpt dosent require planning to win rw.
V
lol at flaco... you have egy cs so you have egy bonus xD there is no more migrating xD
what kind of e-entrepreneur doesnt know that? 😛 a bad one!
@adriatic_rage - or one who has kept their companies in an organisation.
Adriatic is a dumb e-entrepreneur that didn't know about orgs
You talk smart franz... but great powers won't give up easy of our lands... they can easily handle RWs because they have x times more citizens than we have, and bunch of MPPs...
But diplomacy is the key and we should work more on it... o/////////////
franz and balkan beast i think that then bonuses dont apply... they are based on cs and orgs dont have cs 🙂
if i am wrong, my bad, but again, even if you had bonuses, i'd rather trade it for 5 gold and a free license 😛
@Adriatic_rage - there is a 33% production bonus for transferring companies to a citizen account. However if you have a company in Brazil or China, I think you'll end up with a greater production bonus than having it as a citizen in eEgypt... sadly.
I agree with Franz !
Let's go to a regional cooperation !

Your Occupier is easy to beat.
Vote. Yes, until then, here is what we can work together on to encourage new citizens to join eEgypt. At least we can make a better Welcome message.
Here is the current Welcome message of eEgypt:

Some links need changing and we need better tutorials, because some of them are outdated...
Current message leads babies to a channel tahts for mentally challenged people, needs changing.
I wrote the heboo one - it was the best, I don't know why anyone bothered to change it!
well Turkey, Greece and Bulgaria already supports this approach as Turkey and Bulgaria and also Turkey and Greece made such agreements that made them stop fighting to each other like mad and therefore save time and resources....
problem is FY Republic of Macedonia... they were proposed similar agreements with Greece but did not accept it instead now causing many countries as well as their won resources to be wasted for months for no reason...
