Short interview with former Polish CP, Marvin!

Hello there, eUK!
In continuing with my series of interviews, I'll be revealing a short interview with Sir Marvin, the current Minister of Defence for Poland and for Iran.

So who is Sir Marvin?
I first met him when in the controversial ONE HQ elections of April this year after I was elected as Military Commander. Formerly known as Twoj Stary, he became co-MC alongside myself and ShadowStalkerr. He later became the president of Poland and is currently involved in The Unity Party and the Polish & Iranian governments.

An overview and history of the relationship between the UK and our allies, Poland
Poland haven't always been our best friends, in fact they invaded us in 2010. We have pretty much always been on opposite alliances, with Poland having been in EDEN when we were in PEACE GC and Phoenix. In December 2011, after Romania and Poland had a few disagreements, Poland began allying with exPhoenix. It took the UK several months to begin considering aligning with Poland as we, at the time, were best friends with France and Germany who were under occupation. An ilu article was written by our MoFA team and so relations warmed considerably. When the UK entered ONE in my CP term in December 2011, the relations reached new levels of bromance. Since then, Poland has helped us out in many situations against France and Canada.



Interview Time!

How are you today (4 days ago)?
Great, thanks. A little tired (basically I had to rebuild whole Polish MoD team), but great anyway.

What do you make of the situation (ultimatums) in CTRL?
I won't mince words. That sucked. The alliance had just been announced and such things shouldn't happen at the very beginning. Not everything at once - that kind of things need time.

What positions do you currently hold?
Currently I'm eIran's and ePoland's MoD.

Have you had a hard time dealing with the positions so far?
Well, sometimes it's somewhat time-killing, there were situations that I had to be online for all day. Totally all day - from 8 AM to 2 AM for example. Eventually I learnt to waste a little less time for that. Yes, sometimes I have a hard time with that, but I wouldn't do it if it didn't please me 😉

What is your opinion of France, given that you warred with them during your CP term in Poland a few months back?
After all of this stuff my opinion of France is simple. The only way to deal with France is to do it with an army. IMHO they are not to be trusted at all.

Do you wish to see peace between Poland and France eventually?
Short answer: NO.

What is your position on Macedonia?
I had to deal with them for months. Awful allies. Let's be honest, I absolutely hate them.

Do you think that the world can finally form an alternative third alliance that is not aligned to the other two? - i.e. the basis of CTRL
That would be great, but let's face the truth - it would be just like with CTRL. Due to eHistory, some countries would love to cooperate with their former allies and others would like (or maybe even demand) them to cut all the relations. I don't think it's possible. Too bad.

How is the UK working out for you?
Great! It's totally peaceful here, especially after all this time in PL.

What do you think are the best countries on eRepublik? (can be past or present; such as from when Poland were in EDEN and such)
