JDS - Latest news *Updated*

Day 2,249, 05:20 Published in Australia Australia by Joey Development Scheme

Well this last week has been a very busy one for eAustralians and the eWorld in general. In this update you'll find the latest news about the TWO alliance that eAustralia is a current member of, the recent war battle with Chile and of course links to the JDS tasks that can get you young Aussies FREE gold to help with your training ground upgrades.

Currently the eAustralian media is very quiet, may I take this opportunity to remind all young and new Australians that the JDS will refund you the gold for opening your own newspaper...so why not take plunge, create your own newspaper, write an article and say G'day to your fellow Australians?

Well if you read the International news you will be aware that the TWO/ACT alliance, In which we belong, has begun voting to disband. Many key nations have already sent a vote to their Congress/Senates/Parliaments with regards to leaving including the founding members the eUK and ePoland. Make no mistake TWO is coming to an end but that does not mean old friendships will.

There are two ways of looking at this news, the first is with a heavy heart as TWO have been very good to eAustralia with the amount of damage they have thrown our way recently. Some of you may be unaware that until recently we were fully Liberated and had a huge super-power ally on our doorstep in Poland, Poland went on to wipe our old foes Indonesia which did for a while look like a new and prosperous beginning for Australia. Sadly game mechanics changed and again we found ourselves on the wrong end of the new mechanics yet again and with it came Chile who took advantage. TWO still directed much damage our way and were instrumental in our recent victory in Queensland against Chile and for that we are grateful to our allies and will be grateful of any further help they can provide us with.

Some may see it as a new era for eRepublik. TWO proved to be THE key alliance in the game and utterly destroyed their foe alliances in EDEN and then CoT. The game itself now could some very Interesting times ahead and a few new alliances emerge, which could bring balance to the game...either way rest assured your Government is working hard behind the scenes to do what is best for you and eAustralia.

With the Party Presidential elections announced in the last few hours a worrying trend is beginning to appear. It appears two of our top five parties are under a threat of a hostile take over by a foreign player(s) using multiple accounts. This is a very worrying thing for eAustralia especially if we do achieve Senate as these parties will have access to propose and vote on laws, Citizenship passes and votes to leave alliances amongst many other laws.

We urge all eAustralians to become more active, play a part and if you are in a party please make sure that next month you do not blindly walk into a PTO of your party. If you suspect any multiple accounts then please report them to the admins and let us take our country back.

If you are a current Party President then please increase your activity

As you are aware the gain we made in liberating Queensland didn't last long and Chile have since retaken our only region. Sadly we are in a current position where we are not able to have a senate this month, however there is still one week left until the deadline so keep your eyes open for any resistance wars where hopefully we can liberate another region and host senate elections on the 25th of January. Keep the faith and don't lose heart because eAustralians never give up.

Either way you can still become more involved in your political party and learn more about how the politics side of the game works. Or if you are an active player you could always apply for a juniour Government position and learn the ropes for a future career in Government. Either way there are plenty of ways to still be active for your community.

The J.D.S is run by your Government but with funds from donations by kind citizens, the aim is to help young players and players who are new to eRepublik since November 2013 who entered the game and need that little helping hand. We are not politically biased and there are no hidden catches, you do not have to pay back the rewards. All you have to do is look at the tasks which you will find in a link below, they are very simple and designed to help you adapt into the game and the eAustralian community. Some of the tasks are as simple as reaching certain levels and even just signing up to the eAustralian forums...they are that simple and you get a gold reward for each one completed.

Each task completed will see you receive 1gold, the aim is that you will save it for Training Ground updates because in this game the key thing is strength, and you achieve this by training. The best advice we can offer is for you to save your gold until the admins release an offer on upgrading training grounds...then spend away and upgrade. The higher your strength the more damage you do which is beneficial to yourself and your country and will see you earn more gold as well.

We strongly urge you to take the game and tasks slowly and avoid heavy fighting until you have a respectable strength.

✰ ✰ ✰ THE TASKS CAN BE FOUND BY CLICKING THIS LINK ✰ ✰ ✰

Once you have completed one of the tasks then contact your JDS Directors who are either myself - Dr Hugh Jardon or Claire Louise to receive your free gold.
