Thank you Naboal 🙂
thank you my friend
Beside the facts my colleague Naboal stated above, I'd like to say that I think it's difficult for us European people to understand, at first, the incredibly high degree to which religion permeates almost every aspect in the lives of citizens in Islamic countries. In my particular opinion (and without any will to offend anybody), that is not a good thing.
It's not a good thing because religion is all about belief, it's absolutely (and unavoidably) subjective. And the foundations of a State should be as little related to all things subjective as possible, for many reasons: to avoid (for instance) discriminatory treatment of minorities who don't follow a given religion (as is the case of Copts, Christians who live in Egypt and have been subject to violence many a time); to allow equal treatment for men and women; or to allow social change to happen as society wants it to happen, and not as members of a religious organisation want it to happen; etcetera.
Also, the fact that Islam is used so often as a weapon against other cultures and peoples who aren't Islamic doesn't really help the image of the vast majority of Allah followers, who just want to live their lives in peace and in their faith in their God.
That being said, and foreseeing that there could be players who criticize my comment for this, I want to make very clear that Spain still has major issues regarding the topic of religion and it won't be me who uses it as an example, for that matter.
First I want to thank you for this comment
Secondly, I want to tell you that we are in Egypt, Muslims and Christians live in peace, but unfortunately the cause of strife, including in Egypt is:
1: It is, unfortunately, there are religious extremists, Muslims and Christians, one of the reasons these temptations because they hate each other despite the fact that the Prophet Muhammad the Prophet and immunities may Bahl writers who are Christians treat them well
2: Unfortunately, in Egypt, one of the Christians entered Islam kills
But this feeling is not mutual among Muslims, except for a few extreme
thank you Eslam2 to clarify this points
thanks for your comment, really I want to know what is in your minds Europeans and the west in general........ I will state the conclusion in other article god willing
we are here to make To correct the image of Islam in the eyes of the West
I respect that.
kindly tell me about Islam image in your mind , thank you BoixosMossos
Hi,
I'm not catalan. but I live in Granada, which is a special city where Islamic culture let a strong stamp. I'm always get atonished when I discover some typical art, architecture or music who exists in Granada and I discover that it came from Islamic culture. Maybe, the most famous monument of Granada is Alhambra http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110419172305/videojuego/images/c/c5/Alhambra_-_Patio_de_los_leones.jpg
But in daylife, people who lives here use tools, cook food or live in houses which architecture come from your culture. You can find here streets or places that you hardly find in another place of Europe:

In addition, Granada is geographically near Morocco and is a path to people who come from Africa.
But, in strictly religious terms I don't think I know very much about you. In Europe, is hard to get real information about Islam. I know that in Egypt christians and Muslims live in peace.
In a long-term time, I would like to encourage you to write about Islam and about your culture. Erepublik, and the Internet, are a great opportunity to learn new things, to overtake frontiers and prejudices.
Thank you very much etchner, really I am happy with your comments , I will state the findings and I will speak about Islam in another article God willing , but first I am happy to listen to as much as possible of your thoughts and questions if any
barek allah feek
I really would like to learn about Sharia. especially. in Sharia applied to banking. I've read about Sharia compliant finance and for me is very interesting.
There is an economical crisis on Europe and one of its motives is the structure of financial system. Which allow high interest rates and financial speculation. We also are suffering evictions.
Thousands of families who lost their jobs they can pay mortgages and interest and then they lost their houses and have to live on streets.
I think that situation is no possible (or less frequent) under your banking system. Which I find more humanitarian than a pure-capitalist system.
We have in Islam there is no such thing Benefits
It is forbidden called reba
We have no such capitalist system
All of these things God has placed us, because he is the only man in no more familiar and also is more familiar to how prosperity is achieved
God has given Muslims of all the factors that make them rich and idealistic, but unfortunately not everyone is applied
And if you want any further inquiry I exist
google translator .
I honestly am an atheist .
It seems impossible that someone wants a ten perpetual dictator can not be changed by vote ( God )
Aside have prejudices against homosexuality.
they are prejudiced against homosexuality
Thank you sferrer for your comment, but I did not get the point, would you please clarify it more?
If alive I want to change the people who rule, how can I think that dead I will be under a perpetual dictator I can never change or get rid of? (God)
I think i will make a series of articles to explain and clarify Islam ....... so I want you all to give me your questions , thoughts , what you heard , what is your image about Islam to answer it in the coming articles
and I will help you if you want any thing
Thanks a lot eslam2
Islam is a religion based in Quaran, and the Quaran have links with Judaism and Christianism.
There are many interpretations and different trends like other religions, Shia, Sunni, Ismailism...
There are many countries were Islam is important religion like for example Arabia Saudi, Indonesia, Egypt, Malaysia, Pakistan, Iran...
Islam allows conversion like Christianism, judaism and hinduism don't allow conversion.
I'm not an expert sorry :3
mikhail I want to give you an information there is shia and sunni only in islam
and thank you very much for this comment
I like you very much my brother3-|
you are a good man
'' ستفترق أمتي على بضع وسبعين فرقة ''
that's true my friend, Quran is the first source of legislation but not the only one, Sunna is also consider the second source of legislation, btw , there is no controversy between Quran and Sunna .
I'd like to comment this article as well as someone who is an ethnic Arab, but no Muslim:
Islam itself is basically a more tolerant religion than Judaism and Christianity (Sura 2,256). However, I have to say two things I consider where Islam is on a total wrong way: Many hadithes are proven wrong and in the Quran, every seem-to-be law has a sura with quite the opposite of it. The Ulama and those who are in power are not willing to interprete the Quran in a progressive way. And that's what Islam needs nowadays.
Secondly, the influence of Wahhabist/Salafist movements on the Islamic world. The whole region obviously moves backwards (also Israel in my opinion btw). Inshallah the people will understand very soon that also religious politicians get corrupted by power.
People always say, Islam and Democracy doesn't fit together. I don't think so. At the moment, the Middle East is splitted in Secular and Religious movements, but none of those two groups try to fill the gap between. But there's a chance for a free and even democratic society in the Middle East. Just the mentality of the people is totally undemocratic at the moment.
I believe that real democracy can't be applied without Islam. in other words, applying Islam in all its laws and legislation will achieve more than democracy
i agree with you 100% on the second point but i don't quiet understand your first one
I mean : Democracy definition is the decision of the majority , it will rule the country according to their decision , consequently the minorities may treated unfairly .
I wish my point is clear , because my English language is not that good.
i don't mean your words Abo Alleil , i was talking about Farbous first opinion , yours is completely right in my opinion Islam's way is always democratic way ... there's NO forcing in Islam
I'm studying History, and Islam has been one of my favorite subjects. You've got a gorgeous history full of culture and science.
That's very true, and this culture and science is the result of applying Islam as a whole package.
they understand the Islam , and that lead them to establish one of the largest empire in the earth.
