Hello there!
It's been a while since I personally did an article - just more than a month ago! Anyway, this article will feature information on a planned pub quiz, reveal the winner of the raffle and give you other news.

Revamp of the UKRP Senior Council

The UKRP Senior Council is undergoing a revamp, meaning that its purpose and meaning will change. If you want to offer your input into this, then visit this topic on the forums.

On the night of the 29th of September, a Thursday, the United Kingdom Reform Party will be hosting a glorious pub quiz.

Who's allowed to join in?
The event will be an exclusive to the UKRP, so all members of the UKRP are eligible to enter. The pub quiz is also completely free so why not join in?

It'll be conducted on IRC on the channel #ukrp.quiz and you'll need a registered IRC nickname. Please send Thomas765 or Dishmcds a message and we'll add you to the channel access list.

When will it take place?
The quiz will take place from 8 pm UK time on Thursday and will last approximately an hour to two hours.

What are the prizes?
The prize will be gold for the winner and runner up. For third place, there will be a prize of GBP. The winner is the person who receives the most points.

How many questions will there be?
There will be around 30 to 50 questions, depending on the time taken to get through the quiz.

How are points rewarded?
Each correct answer will result in 1 point, however, you can earn more points by being quicker at answering questions:
- If you are the first person to answer the question correctly, you get a bonus 2 points.
- If you answer correctly within the first 10 seconds, you get a total of 3 points.
- If you answer correctly within the first 20 seconds, you get a total of 2 points.

So why not join us on Thursday night?

As most of you, our members, will be aware: we held a raffle for 10 gold recently and I am going to announce the winner of the gold.
