As your mailbox should attest - The UKPP had no candidates stepping forward wishing to run for CP this month.
In any normal situation this would of resulted in no candidate being chosen but caught up in the whole ATO atmosphere our PP made the decision to run a blocker.
After asking a few more qualified members to be that blocker and run the risk of somehow ending up in the hotseat the task fell upon me, Alfagrem.
However in a turbulent and ever changing set of circumstances the utility and effect of running a blocker seemed mooted by events outside the party and WayneKerr was selected based upon the feedback received during the initial candidate procedure.
To formalise and democratically recognise that choice we held a ballot in which a number of you have voiced your opinion.
The results of the ballot are
So, Whilst the party is running a UKPPer in myself it is the verdict of its members that the desired candidate is indeed WayneKerr of the WRP.
So as my Avatar will shortly read - "Vote WAYNEKERR (WRP)"

1. Have to agree, we could do with repaying some damage to our alliance. Why not make it interesting and double up the rewards for any eUKer in a eUK MU that wins a BH or CH for an allied nation in the eUK's Campaign of the Day battle.
2. A whole 'Getting Started' guide that is simple and informative and contained in game is needed. The biggest problem we have always had is keeping it updated and visible. The NHS, I think could play a big part in this, seeing as they are already in contact with a large section of the younger eUK player base.
3. Same as the guides, its great for it to be updated, but there needs to be a continued effort in keeping it up to date. Something we have struggled with in the past 3 years.
3. Nothing real radical here. eUK's FA has always been heavily alliance based with our MoFA's mostly consisting of those players in the alliance circle anyway. Only thing I can see that is different is that you will have a forig player come and do a eUK cabinet job.

5. Yet another PP meeting that will ultimately lead to nothing. It's not parties that dislike each other and cause the 'bad blood', it's individual personalities, you'd be better off getting those people into a mass message and thrashing it all out between them.
6. Not actually as retarded an idea as it first sounds. Something to maybe mull over.
All in all not exactly ground breaking, but then again there is not a great deal to actually do or much you can change without a popular hunger for a change.

This ballot is a special election to determine who the UKPP will back in the coming CP elections.
Please reply with your preferred choice from the following candidates;
A) WayneKerr
b) Kapten Johnson
c) Kdogground2
UKPP policy is to run either a UKPP member of no candidate at all. However due to the ATO/PTO threat the party decided to run a blocker instead of no candidate.
Other parties however have decided to not perform ATO operations and have left us hanging (TUP & UKRP).
Therefore we HAVE to choose one of the 3 options listed.
You have till the end of Saturday to make your choice!

Alfagrem, for the record, I would vote for you for UKPP president. However, because you wish for people to vote WayneKerr, I'll do that instead.
Would be better if you made your own mind up and voted for who YOU wanted rather than for someone that has been suggested.
The fact that you say that is comforting, WayneKerr, but the interests of the party are more important. We want you elected.

The interest of the party is to support a candidate.
As a UKPPer myself, I would rather the members vote for who they believe to be the best choice regardless of what everyone else in the party says or thinks. Your opinion is yours, it's one of the most important tools in eRep that you can have. Don't allow others to steal it so easily.
OK, good point, but do note that Alfa wasn't even on the ballot! So you're the best choice.
