Greetings eCanada!
Firstly, I would like to thank Churchill93 and TheSmoke for excellent campaigns! When the time comes they will make great leaders and I encourage them to run again. I would also like to thank the voters in the PP election race!
Now… onto business, this month I have decided on a new but capable cabinet.
Cabinet
Vice Party President: Churchill93
I could not have asked for a better partner. As seen in his campaign, Churchill is a capable leader and I believe this experience will make him that much better when the time comes for him to lead.
Secretary-General: TheSmoke
He currently commands the CAF and brings leadership experience to the table. Smoke, along with Churchill will be working very closely this month to reenergize the CPF.
Spokesman: Auk Rest
Multiple time CPF PP, spokesman, leader… need I say more?
Councilor: Mizu64
Active and ready to help, what more could I ask for? Mizu and I will coordinate CPF activities this month.

The shadow ministers could not possible have a lower profile then the actual ministers. Great first couple of days now nothing but silence. Anyone seen a battle order? Anyone seen anyonecoordinating an RW?
dont know about the rest but me and Oinyo have been away / mostly unavailable for a few days now. Without a CP presence things kind of slow down....
CP's go inactive all of the time.
This is worsened by not having a Congress pestering him 24/7
Only order is to lick USA.

I'll give you marks for creativity but I don't like the idea of having a shadow cabinet. It reminds me too much of our real life adversarial style of politics. I much prefer the consensus type.
Do we really need a group of people whose main job is to criticise what the government's doing? I don't think that's necessarily helpful and probably won't help morale.
If you guys have good ideas for new initiatives or improvements to existing policy, that's great. Share it. Maybe see if you can join the government and help out. I just don't want this to turn into a situation where you're just saying that the government sucks and that you'd be better - but without actually saying what you'd actually do different.
But hey, we'll see, right.
I am not a fan of an opposition govt either. I can understand where you are coming from but this "shadow" government is not here to criticize our real one. The goal is to ensure transparency and efficiency, that we lose without congress.
A worthy enough goal. Maybe you could just make a CPF think tank then, with an expert in each field. Then you guys could come out and make suggestions and ask questions as a group of concerned citizens rather than as members of the opposition.
The Shadow Cabinet is a great idea and I wholeheartedly support it.
