Peace in our time? I sure hope not, it is a war game after all.

The training war with Portugal is in the process of closing. Yesterday we passed the “No NE” law and earlier today we proposed the “peace treaty”. Once it is passed in Canada it will be voted on in Portugal.

Nothing is very quick about making peace in this game. I always say if you’re not sure of a rule just assume it is interpreted in a way that prolongs the war and you are always right.

The purpose of the training war was to help our allies under attack. They were unable to keep their MPP’s with Serbia while Serbia reset the determination with us. Every time Serbia attacked Canada anyone with a Serbian MPP and a Canadian MPP would lose their Serbian MPP.

For some unknown reason some preferred the Serbian MPP over Canadian one.

Portugal has NE’d Spain and they will concentrate their efforts now on that front. We would like to thank Portugal for all their support and we will certainly endeavor to return the favour on the battlefield against Spain on their behalf.

Portugal offered their full support against Albania from day one of the occupation and that is something we should all know and never forget. They took major risks on our behalf that others would not.

For us we will have a few RW’s to clean things up at home as Portugal is leaving completely. We will study our options for more action once this has been completed.
