[Congress] Resignation - Change of Party.

Day 1,590, 12:42 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Grampa Alfagrem

In a utopian version of the eUK congressmen and congresswomen are elected by the nation for what they can bring to the government.

In reality and to quote the current 'MoHA' - "Congressmen are not voted in "by the public". They're voted in by their parties."

As I have recently left the party who's votes, machinery and support put me into the position of congressman - I can no longer represent them, their way of life and their dreams and aspirations.........In short I have as much mandate for office as someone getting elected within the PCP and then joining the 'capitalist fatcat party'!

Therefore I have had no option but to resign from congress with the following voting record;

MPP with Slovenia - Yes
MPP with Lithuania - Yes
£99,990 donation to BoE - Proposed and Voted Yes
NE of France - No
Minimum wage increase to £30 - Yes
Income tax increase to 14% - No
£313,313 donation to BoE - Yes
MPP with Iran - Yes
£400,000 donation to BoE - Yes
MPP with Lithuania - Yes
Income tax decrease to 1% - Proposed and voted Yes

It has been short and sweet but I hope the other remaining UKPP congressman will continue the battle (should UKPP retain their previous policies).
