global news: irish congress and news!
chris jonadicus
Dear friends, hello.
once again, im chris jonadicus and im happy to live in e-ireland, the emerald island, with its good people and its cool, friendly community.
i want to thank you for letting me be an irish congressman, in which i will help out as much as i can, and i will vote in most laws, to do my duty properly and efficiently, whenever its needed.
i represent the #4 party in e-ireland, the ''creations of caring kindness'' (no acronyms please!), a party thats friendly, passionate and keen on doing its duty for the nation...
as such, i will be happy to help out in any political matter, and in any law/immigration topic or any social thing to discuss, really.
as long as e-ireland will get better and stronger from this, im happy for it!
last but not least, i was saddened to see this law that mr Winston Hope Smith
tried to pass in the congress a few days ago :
https://www.erepublik.com/en/main/law/Ireland/267728
i believe that it was unfair from him to ask from our CP to step down based on a small debate about laws and a potential support for active members of our community.
for one, i fully support our CP, and his honourable party, for they do their duty well and they listen to the public, just like we do, here in the
''creations of caring kindness'' party.
so, i urge us all, to be friendly, open to debates and to discuss any ideas without anger, nor malice, for the improvement of e-ireland.
thank you.
feel free to tell me any thoughts or suggestions to make our community better, or how i can help with my skills, as much as i can.
(in a political/social way, as im still a low level fighter in ground+air battles...)
cheers!
plz let me know your thoughts and opinions in the comments section, and please comment/vote/endorse+subscribe to my newspaper.
as for subscriptions: plz subscribe to my newspaper+ tell it to other people too...
(i sub for subs, so lets help eachother to reach the 1000+ subs achievement!)
until then,
-chris j. an old player.

Pertamax! 🇮🇪
thank you seth!
An article about irish politics not writen by the government? So glad to have you in Ireland, Chris!
indeed, its great to be in here, the feeling is mutual, sir!
i will always discuss politics and social topics in here!
Yeah, WHS is a bore. Reminds me of Tef1 in his more defensive days
he does...
he seems very contradictory and annoying, if you ask me.
...and yet you had no idea what the bloody law said... I may be annoying but I am right!!
I feel like the extortion/bribe money should be more like 10000 cc. That's usually the amount I spend daily for weapons. 1000cc doesn't get me much.😥
It gets you the majority of the Irish Congress
lol
@lany : we need more funds, LOL
o7
thank you!!
Glad to see ya playing in eIreland!
yeah, thanks!
So to those that read this and don't know I objected and got abused because I do not believe the Irish state should be paying congresspeople to vote as they want them to vote in Congress. This is an abuse of power and my impeachment law was a logical step if you consider this, now in place, policy by the CP.
It is corruption pure and simple and they know it.
And Chris unlike how the government acts you were free to vote how you feel on that law but maybe next time they will buy your vote on impeachments too.
Come to Ireland for your bribes!!!
zzz
Just for those who don't know WHS and knows nothing about Ireland politics. 1000cc is paid only for voting for the donation law to our secure org to finance Air program. No potentially dangerous or insane laws like changing minimal wage or taxes, no stealing state money to private orgs some of government men. So screaming about bribes or corruption is ridiculous.
@winston smith : you've got it wrong once again.
the payment incentive idea wasnt suggested for the outcomes of votes (as that would be wrong), but it was done for active congressmen, regardless of what they would vote for, so they would have all the freedom to choose whatever they wanted to vote, but they would be rewarded only for being active in their work, which is a good thing...
lastly, you shouldnt assume so easily that my vote can be bought like that, winston.
i will vote whatever i feel is right, and whatever will protect e-ireland and the gorvernment from any trouble.
as such, i am a free man, without corruption, with my own choices, and all the while, faithful to my e-nation.
you, on the other hand, you tried to impeach our president (CP) over a trivial reason.
you seem like a far more erratic and dangerous person for the nation than what you make of me...
take care, and dont judge me before you get to know me and my actions...
Chris is english your native language...? if not then 1 I commend your on your command of it but 2 your are actually wrong. YOU ARE PAID ONLY IF YOU VOTE YES!!!! If you vote no you get nothing.
Now I no you won't believe me because you already have a pre-set idea I am always wrong so I suggest you go ask the knobs who suggest this stupidly and see what they say...
btw if english is your mother-tongue then I cannot help you as you clearly have no idea how to read 🙂
know*
@winston : apart from your childish insults, you dont provide something worthwhile in the whole argument.
let me rephrase my previous post:
if people were being payed in order to vote in favour of the one who payed them, then yes, it would be a bribe, and a bad thing.
if, however, people are payed to vote for whatever they want, and to just be active in the congress, then they hold all the power and the freedom to vote for whatever they want, all the while they are rewarded for being active in a stagnant game. (which is good).
(and even if you claim that people are being paid to vote in favour for the donation laws, everyone votes ''yes'' in donation laws, so a ''no'' would be useless in that case, as the government needs donations in order to move its funds for a new purpose/initiative.)
you are wrong in multiple fronts, and you (dont) know it.
read this particular part again, slowly and you might understand it.
i will post it below, for your greater convenience :
(and even if you claim that people are being paid to vote in favour for the donation laws, everyone votes ''yes'' in donation laws, so a ''no'' would be useless in that case, as the government needs donations in order to move its funds for a new purpose/initiative.)
i hope that you can understand it a bit better now...
if not, its not that big of a deal, as you are a contrarian and an troll by nature.
idiot stop digging... how many words (a word salad tbh) did you just type to make a fool of yourself.... again
Please keep writing
i will, as i love making new articles and whatnot!
thank you!
voted
thank you my old friend!
I think its a bit unfair that opposition to that Bill is being treated as trolling by its supporters.
Opposition was not limited to WHS accusation autoposts.. more than 1/3rd of votes was against.
It was the ONLY piece of legislation the entire term that even merited debate in Congress.
Right? I haven't seen that much activity over legislation in years.
if you care to read back the last MM you will see I was reasonable at the start calling out how it can be inferred as corruption... I was met with abuse and it convinced me that the entire raison d'etre of the law was to ensure laws by this gov will be passed. Donation laws for now but rest assured it will be every law they propose soon. Corrupt regimes always start small and expand their corruption as they deem it is necessary.
You may not like my message or how I deliver it but I am right!
@ winston : to paraphrase your last sentence above,
just because you have a message to say, that doesnt necessarily make it right!
as i've said in an earlier comment above,
you've got it wrong, and you have misinterpreted the context of that payment initiative suggestion.
the payment incentive idea wasnt suggested for the outcomes of votes (as that would be wrong), but it was done for active congressmen, regardless of what they would vote for, so they would have all the freedom to choose whatever they wanted to vote, but they would be rewarded only for being active in their work, which is a good thing...
you on the other hand, you tried to impeach our president (CP) over a trivial reason.
now THATS a bad thing to do, and a bad prelude to a series of erratic, dangerous actions to come from you.
with such a thing in mind, what will you do if the goverment will attempt to raise the taxes or to find a new partner for a TW?
will your next answer be a new impeachment? a coup? or...
i hope that you can sort things out in your mind, because i dont like your frantic actions and your contrarian behaviour.
@sweet : i think that most reasonable people would be against an unfair presidential impeachment, as was this one...
especially if it happened on a whim and for stupid reasons, due to winston misinterpreting a suggestions context, and overreacting with it with an impeachment attempt.
i mean, if thats how he reacted over a simple initiative suggestion for keeping our congressmen active, then what would winston do if the government would raise the taxes? a coup?
we need to be reasonable, and in support of democracy, order and of good plans.
otherwise things will get chaotic, fast.
"a simple initiative suggestion for keeping our congressmen active" it was nothing of the sort... it was giving bribes to ensure laws they want passed are passed aka Corruption
@Chris
My statement has nothing to do with WHS. By all means continue to treat him as a troll. That's what he's here for.
More than 1/3rd of reasonable Congressman do not think its a good plan. I support them.
Sweet he actually agrees with you (and me) he just thinks he doesn't lolol
It wasn't WHAT the opposition said but HOW they said it that turned it into trolling. Even inferring that it was/is bribery, dishonest and dishonorable when the donation law always passes with yes votes anyway was insulting.
yeah, i mean it was stupid to call it bribery, as it would reward any active congressman, regardless of what they would vote, which means that they would have all the freedom to choose whatever they wanted to vote, but they would be rewarded only for being active in their work, which is a good thing...
its ridiculous to call an incentive for being active to vote whatever you want as a ''bribe'', when the outcome of a vote is entirely into the congressmans hands, and not into the government that is paying him for it.
(which would be bad, if things were in that way)
stop stop I cannot take any more of your stupidly 😃 someone have a word with him to explain what he is actually trying to defend here as he is making my case for me lolololol
Accepting cash for votes (in a particular way) is bribery... you call it whatever nice word you want but it is and will always be bribery
I didn't feel like I was being bribed for a yes vote on a law that I always vote yes on. I felt like it was a good way to ensure activity and a way to spread the wealth, especially to lower players. I even forgot to vote after it was proposed by Seth.
@lanny : you are right lanny!
we need to have a more active congress, and a monetary incentive for active congressmen would be pretty good.
@winston :
again...
the payment incentive idea wasnt suggested for the outcomes of votes (as that would be wrong), but it was done for active congressmen, regardless of what they would vote for, so they would have all the freedom to choose whatever they wanted to vote, but they would be rewarded only for being active in their work, which is a good thing...
oh dear god the guy is an actual idiot 😃
...and yet you were bribed
noone was bribed, as in order for a bribe to happen, the outcome of a law, needs to be swayed into a positive result for the one who is paying the congressmen.
if that didnt happened, and if the government said that every congressman is free to vote for whatever they want, as long as they stay active, how is that a bribe, and not an incentive to keep people active in a stagnating game?
chris you have no clue what you are saying now.... you are 100% wrong in this and are making a fool of yourself. You are actually making my point that I have been making and somehow against me. 😃 Man I am actually lol here at this, it is glorious 😃
