[DEFENSIE] Wapeninkoop

At the moment weapons cost quite a lot in the United Netherlands and we almost have a weapon shortage. Via the Ministry of Defense Q1 weapons can be bought for 15 NLG per piece to fight this shortage.
Donate an x ammount of NLG to 'Ministerie van Defensie' and these will donate an x amount of weapons as soon as possible.
With this measure we don't want to interfere with the companies, but support the people. Companies can keep the same price or slightly higher and still make profit.

Supply and demand... Demand > Supply = Big prices... To bad Dutch producers can only see the profit...
To bad Dutch producers can only see the profit...
Doh! Isn't that the goal of a private company? To make profit?
Hier in eIndonesia kost een q1 5,05 IDR -> 0.1667 GOLD -> 10.41 NLG.
Profit is made with these high prices. As salaries are lower in the United Netherlands than in Indonesia or Hungary, companies could give prices that are more like the prices there.
I think the import taxes on weapons could go to 10% so the market will give better prices and the companies are not exploiting the situation.
In the mean time try to buy weapons by donation (either from our own government or from other companies) or start a organisation in another country to buy cheaper weapons.
You can write foreign companies with high stocks that you will buy 10 Q1 weapons for 1.7 gold or so. Some will be eager to do it.
