In no way is this article intended to insult anyone or bring about real life issues. It covers the reasons why eFYROM shouldn't be introduced in the game as "eMacedonia" (let alone join the game). It will use real life however to back up the argument imposed by the article. I feel this article has not broken this rule: Freedom of press is absolute (without breaking amendments 2, 2.1, 2.2, 3.1 and 3.2) so I am publishing it.

After reading the two articles which are mentioned below this line I feel I need to say something:

Most foreigners should know that Alexander the Great was Greek and spread Hellenic civilization along with the rest ancient Macedon. I have lived in the United Kingdom (in real life) all my life and that's what they teach in schools, that's what in says in libraries and museums etc...
If people do not know this they are merely not well informed on the issue so fair enough, but its a fact that ancient Macedon's were Greek - the reason I say this is because of the whole silly idea of adding a country with the name "Macedonia" which will do anything but good but it will do a lot of bad.
Many people who post comments on articles about FYRO"M" think its just a name dispute. Its not, its a collection of irredentist policies which are used to make claims of provinces of not only Greece but Albania and Bulgaria. These policies originated in the 1940s as a result of propaganda which had the intention of protecting Yugoslav dominance over the Vardar province as well as making claims on neighbouring countries.
People in FYROM today are hostile towards the Greeks and therefore by adding them with the name "eMacedonia" the admins are encouraging more real life disputes, more hostilities and above all they insult the Macedonian people who are part of what is Greece. This is not racism, nor is it a petty dispute over a name like that between France and the United Kingdom over the name Britain which had a very similar name as the French region Brittany (Charles De Gaul is the reason why "Great Britain" is called United Kingdom) .
What is my evidence that this is not just a name dispute? Here it is:
Name of airport in Skopje (named after one of Greece's greatest Kings in 1999, still there today)
Billboard in Skopje, picture taken in 2008 ( I find it both offensive and disgusting, still there today)
Greece and FYROM basketball match 2009(disgusting as well)
How the Turks diplomats and leaders were greeted in Skopje (notice the uniforms of the soldiers).
I think this is all clear evidence and i think its best that in order to avoid an Armageddon of real life issues in the game the admins should not consider adding them as a country until the dispute is over, BUT if they must add them , I strongly suggest they do so by their international name rather than making such a big fuss.
I apologise to all my subscribers for writing this article but it was called for after reading some many ignorant comments on the other articles.

Yes it is, and as i said its no where near the parliament building, and what you cant see is the its a billboard for an exhibit, where pictures of the Macedonian refugees from the greek civil war are shown, where you showed them in trains like Hitler.

I live in the city, i pass the parliament building everyday THERE is no billboard there.

lol its not bed time XD And there was such a billboard we are not blind or stupid, but it was not near the parliament. And it was an add for an exhibit.
What difference does it make Zdravko? The only think close to that which I have ever seen in Greece (during my summer visits) is graffiti... There are no complaints of any intolerance sponsored by the state against people of FYROM just as there are in your country except its against Greece.
Now try giving me an excuse for the other pictures as well.. History has proved that you are really good in producing short term excuses which make no sense when looking at the long term range of history..

OK look, the billboard is not sponsored by the state, in that case the graffiti and the billboard are not so much different since none of them are sponsored by the state, our government didn't approve the billboard, cos Greece considered it a provocation, it was a billboard paid with the money of Atanas Botev as it says on the billboard.

exhibit #1 The airport: I think we will both agree that Alexander was Great and our airport is not,(Note:the airport is being renovated yey) but you consider Alexander as Greek we dont, so we have our right to name our airport as we wish, and a lot of shall i say stuff in europe are named after alexander.
exhibit #2 The guy with the shirt( i think we cleared the billboard issue) The guy is only expressing his anger towards Greece's demands for us to change our name, no different that the graffiti in Greece.
exhibit #3 The costumes: Well those costumes are crappy, i think that if they were better and of any quality i would discus it further those are just "plastic" replicas, and it was only for the Hunza president, because as i said they believe that they are descendants of Alexanders soldiers so its only appropriate we great them as such.

What anger? They were provoking the Greek basketball team. They the flag of vergina there as well and were openly throwing insults with the authorities doing nothing. Dispute this Greece won the match. By the way imagine the anger of the 2.6 million Greeks who live in Macedonia (the real one).

The third picture looks more obsessive over Macedonian history. Greeks don't dress as hoplites as part of greeting foreign diplomats, it would riddcule them look it has with FYROM on the world stage. We only dress as hoplites (which by the way is part of HELLENIC culture) during a war re-enactment or during a ceremony remembering the sacrifice of Leonidas. And we don't dress up soldiers, we dress up actors..
1 Alexander was Macedonian as am i, and its 100% impossible that the people in the balkans didn't mix, you would agree that the Bulgarians are slav? But a DNA study , showed that Bulgarians are 35% thracian and only 15% slav.
2 And, anger yes a lot of it, where you at the game? I wasn't so i can really say if they insulted the Greek players, we consider the flag of vergina as our symbol so... oh and btw congrats on the win against us in basketball, its just sports.
3 I agree the "hoplites" aka pezhetairoi, (im sure you knew that already) look stupid, and those are actors not soldiers.

So what is the ancient Macedonian macedonian language most simuliar to?
You can not have DNA studies on ethnicities without having a source of 100% pure ethnicity (which doesn't exist)as well getting correct results without testing the whole population. The whole DNA story is BS based on theories.
2) Do you even know what the flag of vergina means? It involves the four basic elements and the twelve gods of Olympus which were worshipped by all Greeks. Did you know that in Dion Alexander the Great sacrificed 100 bulls (enough to fed a whole city back then)to the Greek god Zeus? It is written by the ancient Macedonians in Dion on the walls.
3) They had a parade of hundreds of those guys and theY all looked like military men and behaved like military men. They were used in the creation of the statue in Bitola and marched in hordes etc.. The uniforms are cheap which shows that they are intended for many... and soldiers are usual the ones who do these things. Displaying actors dressed up as ancient soldiers in front of foreign official's is just weird and embarssing. It doesn't prove anything.

i do agree you have to test the whole population, and the Romans believed in the same gods, only with different names, and no one calls them greek, the Romans are the ones that spread Helenic culture the most since alexanders empire lasted briefly, Rome lasted for hundreds of years, and no1 calls them Greek. The etruscans also believed in the same gods

I know about the Roman gods, but they had their own names for them. The Macedonian's called them exactly the same way Greeks called them and used exactly the same language when stating stuff about them and everything else. In fact Mount Olympus is in Macedonia (as in Greece) which is home of the Greek Olympian gods... Funny..

Who commanded those soldiers? Because the government would never be stupid enough to openly provoke a country (or perhaps its Albanian propaganda, you never know).
However when the Turks came the government organized the Hoplite thing..
