For the sake of this eNation we must not succumb to selfish politcal bickering and destroy our great people. I am not completely against the war nor is every member of the USWP. It is my view that we need a better strategy, one that does not rely on the sheer size that our president lauds as the ultimate advantage.

We have now seen in the eWorld as we have in the Real World that simply having that largest most well-funded army in existence does not guarantee victory, only and advantage.

We need able leadership to sieze that opportunity. Benn Dover is a capable man; I am sure of it. But, now we need a new understanding and if Benn Dover does not discover it I pray that somebody else dethrone him.

Wars are multilateral. The Military, the Media, the Political, and the Economic must all be balanced at once and we cannot afford to forget any factor. We need to plan.

I have no problem with you voicing your opinions regarding the war, but actively promoting dissent and sabotaging the war effort (whether through media propaganda or communicating with enemy leaders) once a DEMOCRATIC vote has gone through congress in support of the war is treasonous. If you have a problem with the war, and think you can get public support for a withdrawl, why don't you focus on winning the next election on that platform, or impeach Benn Dover? Don't defend yourself with 'freedom of speech' your actions have gone beyond free speech.

i believe in free speach and Benn did go too far, but his underlying idea is right and it is being overlooked. the USWP is a party of talk, not action. they come out in opposition of the war to make a splash and present the illusion of action to gain members and votes. benn calls them out on this and instead of addressing his accusations with facts or remitting them, they glaze his whole ideaover with talk of their free speach being restricted. this is talk for the sake of talk, benn went overboard yes. but you waste our time with this controversy and disunity. we are at war, WIN IT. then address the fundamental issues we all know are present. We (those crying "against the USWP" if I could say) are simply arguing that treason has occurred not on the basis of free speech, but on the basis of contacting the enemy [at which I personally, and few are, not calling the whole USWP traitors, just their active community has supporters of these actions] for support and sabotage as well as breaking the chain of command in the military.

These issues have been brought up before, and all the USWP members have said is "It's free speech!" Though they have not denied contacts with the French president (Aside from "To my knowledge..." comments) nor have they even defended their breaking the chain of command in the eUS National Guard and eArmy.

Political membership, affliations, and personal views of the war aside; the purpose of these articles that so many are bashing is that the entire USWP was accused of being traitors. I am a proud soldier IRL and in the eVerse, I have taken my place on the battlefield from the beginning and I will continue to do so. But I will not stand idly by and be called a traitor because of political spin.

If one person can level proof that I am a traitor to my nation, I will happily accept punishment fitting that most high of crimes. Until that has happened, I have a right to decry the slander against my person because I am a member of a party that is no longer in favor of the war.

Plain, simple, done.

I was a member of the USWP, and despite all the "zombie" talk and anti-USWP sentiment I remained a member because I knew that didn't represent me or those in the party that I affiliated with. However, these actions taken by the party president and supported by many in the party were horrifying and convinced me it is time to find a new party to support.

If you disagree with the war and want to voice that, fine. But to contact the enemy (yes, by being a resident of the eUSA which is at war with France, that does make France your enemy) to bolster support is treasonous and cannot be supported by any conscientious American. Fellow active and patriotic USWP members, it is now time to leave this party and find a party that is in line with our values and ideals!

Nowhere in Rocco Baldelli's Platform did he indicate an anti-war stance, and this about-face, combined with his autocratic ways (see his latest shout, ordering all USWP members to read and vote on his article denouncing the war) are wrong and are not what the party stood for. Down with Rocco Baldelli! Go eUSA!!!

Labeling our country imperialists because we exercised our ability to wage war is very low. This is a group of people conspiring to bring down the USA with lies and slander.

Just a quick edit of one of your comments. Treason? Maybe not, but it was shady. Why would you send it to the president of France? And why would you talk to them and Croatia(USWP isn't controlled by Petric anymore. Just let me see you say those words), without even talking to Benn. He told me that nobody that doesn't agree with it has had a one on one conversation with him at all about the war at all. Why wouldn't you show him a little respect and give him the time of day, or even try to get some information from him that would support your new stance?

Also, Cohen brings up an excellent point. USWP are quick to turn up their nose at the word 'zombie,' and call it terribly inaccurate, but they're just as quick to jump on the labeling bandwagon. All Benn and Shafer did was call you out. They didn't restrict your speech at all. If I tell you to shut the hell up because you're an idiot, will you accuse me of fascism or trying to restrict your free speech?

Dont forget the economy, we need major reforms to sort this country out in all three sectors. As far as I can tell we can only do that with the stability that is acheived during peace time. Correct me if im wrong, but most companies on the market are making a loss, I did the numbers and out of the three companies I checked only one was at a profit (it was a canadian company). My own companies are having to sell abroad just to stay afloat, what does that tell you?

There is a big difference between speech and action. Communicating with the enemy in a democratically declared time of war is in all essence treason unless you were authorized to have such discussion. Actively working against the war effort external of your country to bring it down also adds to it.

But seriously, my bigger question is why are you against a war. Wow...instead let's sit all the time in this game...build...consume...build...consume...for the rest of your eRepulik life? That's going to be so exciting. Can we not remember this is a game? Let's take over a country. if they wanna join great, if not they can resist and the game is all that more interesting. What's the point of becoming a strong country if you do nothing with it? of course that is not an argument for real life as I remind again that THIS IS A GAME...

I would say that activity is horrible through out this game. I know that there are at least 10 people inactive in New Mexico. I personally find it hard to believe that the US is populated by X-thousands of active people. I think belittling the USWP for the activity of there entire member base is ridiculous. I would love to see one of the Major parties with a majority of its members active on their forums.

Not every party uses forums. Some prefer to stick with the US forums, and not alienate their members from it
