Day 1,167, 03:09 Published in Ireland Ireland by seanlynch

Hello Irish citizens once again,

This in another party of my presidential manifesto (If you want to call it that). This will be based on:
(i) Military
(ii) Finance
(ii) Foreign Affairs

(i) Military: First of all, I'd like to thank and congradulate CelticTiger211 and his colleagues in the Irish Army (IA for short). This new unified army, replacing the ICA and IDF, has helped bring structure to Ireland's army, and in turn has helped make Ireland a stronger military force.
I believe that in order for a country to be stable, we need a strong army. Which is why, I believe the Irish government should help to facilitate this new, reformed army. In order to do so we need to see a budget of how much the army would need to pay wages etc. As you know, many of Ireland's citizens donated generously to to the army, and they are eternally thanked for this. But an army runs on it's pay cheque. Which is why I'm fairly certain that it will need re-capitalisation during this term, or in the future, and I believe it should come from the New bank, and indeed the ta😜ayer.
"Why should the people who are not in the army pay for the army?" It is simple really, the IA is there to protect Ireland too, which is why we need our soldiers training on the battle field, to defend us, out brother's and sister's.

(ii) Finance: Now, I would like to move onto the financial part of my policies. I have already contacted an Minister of Finance (MoF) and he/she has accepted the job. After talks with him/her we belive that the MoF should focous on:
a) A budget needs to be drawn up. I have left the details fully at the discression of the MoF, and he/she wll cnatact the MoFA and MoD on what cash they need, and the MoF will decide on the deatials etc.
b) Monatery stabalisation is very important. Now, I don't know much about this area, but I believe that the Minister of Finance knows well how it will be proceeded with.
The next big part of my policy is the return of the Minister of Trade (MoT). They will be in charge of:
a) Reaching the next stage of the solidarity movement. Now this is the stage of the Trade Unions, where the owners of the solidaity businesses can elect representitives to the trade union and tehy will meet with the MoT and discuss issues their area is having.
b) I would also hope that the MoT would head up the economics guild. Now I have contacted someone on becoming the MoT, but he/she has yet to respond, so the position is still open.

(iii) Foreign Affairs: I have conatacted someone concerning the MoFA position, and he/she has accepted the position. Now I hope that we can continue our great relationships within EDEN, but in particular to Canada and Croatia. However, I believe with the New Irish Army, we have enhaced our military reputation. Now I was looking at the World stats yesterday, and Ireland were ahead of countries like the UK, and I believe this new found strength will help us get noticed in a good way internationaly. I also want to see the ambassadorial program continued, as I have seen first had the good effect it has on ireland's international reputation. Also, I would ask the MoF if we have the cash for the 2 mpp's (With Canada and Croatia) or if we have more or less.

So as you ca see, these 3 area's are tightly linked with each other, Hence the reason that I chose to put them all together. Now on another update, I have contacted Dan Muchadh on the state of these debate's, and a time will be finalised once all candidate's have put their hat in the ring and we all decide on a suitable time for eachother.

And finally a quote to inspire you "Seize the day or die regretting the time you've lost."

Go Raibh Míle Maith agat
