Pub Quiz Success!

Any of you who made it into the IRC on the 5th January will know, West Midlands faced Yorkshire and Holderness in the first Pub Quiz of the year.

Hilarity ensued, as Wyli's pet robot grilled us shamelessly with random TV trivia questions from decades before out time, and educated us upon the meaning of baby names. There was much confusion, much chaos and insanity, yet fun was had by all involved. I think the game was a great success, even if the Yorkshire team walked away with the 200GBP prize.

The scores of the night stand at 37/25 in favour of the Yorkshire team. Oexis was named man of the match for scoring a whopping 18 points.

The format of the quiz will undergo a few changes in the up coming weeks, before a rematch will be organised so that the West Midlanders can regain some dignity, as well as some cash. A Pub Quiz Cup is also in the pipe line for the future. Keep your eyes peeled for a Pub Quiz near you.
